Vince Vaughn rose to international stardom after starring in the 1996 comedy-drama, Swingers.

Since then, he has worked in many successful movies, including Wedding Crashers (2005), The Break Up (2006), Couple’s Retreat (2009).

Because of his successful career, Vaughn is often in the spotlight. However, he has kept his wife and kids away from the public eye.

His wife, Kyla Weber, also leads a private life, unlike his previous partners, which included actress Jennifer Aniston.

Here’s a look at Vaughn’s relationship with his wife, and kids.

Vaughn met his wife through a mutual friend around mid-2008. The actor proposed to Weber on Valentine’s Day 2009.

Their engagement was reported in the following month, but he did not share about it until October of the year. He talked about the proposal during an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.

“I figured this is not a ship to be missed because I will not forget this date,” he said. “So Valentine’s Day was the day that I asked her.”

Roughly a year later, Vaughn and Weber tied the knot on January 2, 2010. The ceremony reportedly took place before several dozen friends and family in an “opulent, historic house at Lake Forest Academy.”

Following their marriage, Vaughn once again gushed about his wife to Ellen DeGeneres.

“I met the best girl in the world,” the actor shared. “It gives you such a great purpose in your life. If I would’ve met her, I would’ve done it a long time ago so I’m very, very happy.”

Vaughn also revealed that he had never really been keen on settling down. He further added he was lucky that the right girl came into his life just when he was ready.

They Have Two Kids Together

Vaughn and his spouse have two children together. The pair welcomed their first child together, daughter Locklyn Kyla Vaughn, on December 18, 2010.

Vaughn’s family of three grew larger on August 7, 2013, when Weber gave birth to son Vernon Lindsay Vaughn, who is named after the actor’s father.

The Swingers star has revealed little about his kids. During an appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan, he said his daughter liked comedy movies while his son was into scary stuff.

He also shared that the only movie of his that his kids had seen was Dodgeball. “The only movie they have seen of mine is Dodgeball and it was not showing of mine. But they saw that, and they liked that.”

Vaughn also noted that he would wait a little while before showing his kids his other works.

In another interview with Fatherly, Vaughn opened up about his experience with fatherhood.

He said he really connected to being a kid and added that the best thing a father can do for his children is to love their mom as it “showed them good communication and good relationship.”

Vaughn shared he really loved his children and enjoyed the time he spent with them. Especially being able to share life moments.
