Tay-K Asks for Help Again after Reaching Out to Kim Kardashian

In July 2019, Texas-raised rapper Tay-K, born Taymor McIntyre, was sentenced to 55 years in jail.
The 21-year-old rapper was convicted of second-degree murder and three counts of aggravated robbery. Besides the jail time, he was also made to pay $21,000 in fines.
But on December 28, he tweeted that he was on the hunt for a new lawyer to help him appeal his murder case.
His tweet came after Kyle Rittenhouse was found “not guilty” for fatally shooting two people and injuring three others during a protest in Kenosha.

Rittenhouse’s acquittal led to a public outburst over the double standards and injustice of the criminal justice system. And some of Tay-K’s fans have taken the opportunity to solicit for the rapper’s appeal.
One user on Twitter wrote, “[Rittenhouse] caught 3 bodies and beat the case but tayk got 55 years smh,” while another tweeted, “If Kyle can be free then so can Tay K.” The rapper shared similar sentiments as he retweeted these tweets.
The rapper also took to his Instagram story and tagged Kim Kardashian, known for her work with prison reform. However, Kim has not responded to the rapper.
Tay-K’s Murder Case
The rapper is currently in prison at Bexar County Jail in San Antonio, Texas.
According to reports, the artist best known for his hit song ‘The Race,’ murdered 21-year-old Ethan Walker after robbing him during a drug deal in Mansfield, Texas.
The situation garnered attention when the rapper was put on house arrest for the murder in early 2017, but then he cut off his ankle monitor and fled to San Antonio. He then released the song ‘The Race,‘ where he bragged about escaping his arrest.
The song ended up charting on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 list
But that same year, in June, he was arrested and charged with another murder that allegedly happened while he was on the run. He shot 23-year-old Mark Anthony Saldivar in a San Antonio Chick-fil-A parking lot during a robbery.
After that, fans heard little about him until 2020, when rumors circulated that he had allegedly stabbed a prison guard and that his jail sentence could be extended.

However, the rapper’s legal team quickly denied those claims through Twitter.
All rumors of Taymor’s sentence being extended are false. Tay has stayed out of trouble, and the media is still fighting against him to paint an untrue narrative. Appeals are still continuing, and Tay will be home soon.
The rapper wasn’t one to sit quietly while the media bashed on him. He had previously spoken on the media’s poor portrayal of him and his crimes and criticized his management for advising him against speaking up about it.
He apologized to his fans and supporters for not speaking against the media, who spread lies about him after his management and label convinced him not to.
The rapper added he was going to ensure that the truth about his life and character got out with or without the help of his management and label.
