Tamzin Outhwaite Doesn’t Want More Children after Split with Tom Ellis

Tamzin Outhwaite is currently in the news due to her longtime partner Tom Child’s health issues.

The EastEnders actress’ partner, Child, was reportedly rushed into surgery to have his appendix removed last weekend in January 2022.

On January 16, Outhwaite, who was previously married to former husband Tom Ellis, took to Twitter to update her followers about the health status of her present beau.

She wrote, “Good morning all… My bloke went to A and E with bad stomach pains and ended up in theatre having his appendix out.”

“If you fancy a laugh go to his insta @tc_childie. He has never had an op or morphine. He has apparently been cracking up the doctors,” the actress later joked.

Interestingly, Outhwaite, who has been dating Child for more than four years, does not want children with him.

She reportedly has told her partner that she would call time on their relationship if he decided he wanted kids.

Tamzin Outhwaite Already Has Two Children

The reason why Outhwaite does not fancy children with Child is that she is already a mother to two children.

The actress apparently shares two children, Marnie Mae Ellis and Florence Elsie Ellis, with her former husband, Ellis, renowned for his charismatic performance in Netflix's Lucifer.

Speaking with The Sun in November 2021, she opened up about her desire to look after her two kids and not to have any more with her current partner.

“I’ve got two. I’ve really got to keep my eye on the ball keeping these two well, alive and healthy. I’m not having any more. No way. I’m done,” she said.

Outhwaite also implied that she was frequently asked by people what if Child wants a baby with her.

Addressing that, she said she frankly told everyone that if he wanted a child with her, she would end the relationship instead.

Tamzin Outhwaite Does Not Want a New Husband Either

The New Tricks actress seems to be in a very understanding situation with her now-partner, Child.

It seems so because she is confident enough not just to say that she does not want a child with him, but she is also clear about not getting married to him in the future.

In the previous interview, Outhwaite went on to share that she felt it was lovely to be free after her split with Ellis.

Hence, she had no plans to call someone her husband — neither her partner, Child, nor anyone else.

She also stated that she had vowed in the past to her two daughters that she'd never get remarried. And if she would ever do that, her daughters would “hate” it.

Tamzin Outhwaite and Tom Child’s Relationship

Outhwaite and Child have been together since they first met at a yoga class in London more than four years ago.

Their relationship also quickly came up in the media because of the 20-year age gap between the actress and Child, an actor and filmmaker.

Over the years, the two have often appeared on one another’s social media and showed they are a power couple, even without being married to each other.
