Here Is What You Should Know about Steve Harvey’s Ex-wife Marcia Harvey

Steve Harvey has weathered the trials of marriages and two divorces, having married thrice.

The game show host finally found his Mrs. Right in his current and third wife, Majorie Harvey. The couple got hitched in 2007, and it was the third marriage for both of them.

During an interview with Good Housekeeping in 2013, Steve noted he did not talk about his ex-wives.

“I knew nothing until my wife came along. I married a person who was already happy, and I’m innately happy. We complement each other’s happiness,” said the Family Feud host.

He added he neither remembered them nor had any fond memories with them, and agreeably so. His divorce from his second wife, Mary Lee Harvey, was messy and headline-worthy. 

She accused the host of extensive infidelity and alleged he left her penniless. She demanded Harvey be “charged with a constitutional rights violation, falsifying documents, perjury, contempt of court, embezzlement, extortion, and collusion.” 

Apparently, the couple didn’t end things on good terms. But was it the same case with his first wife, Marcia Harvey? 

Steve Harvey’s Ex-wife Keeps a Low Profile

Harvey married his first wife in 1981 and welcomed three kids. 

The marriage came to an end when Steve reportedly spent too much time on the road while trying to break into comedy. As a result, they divorced in 1994.

Vizaca noted that even before the divorce was finalized, the host was rumored to be living with his second wife, Mary Lee Harvey. 

As a result, he was ordered in court to pay $36,000 in restitution to his ex-wife and approximately $5100 per month in child support.

Steve, however, refused to pay. And Marcia raised their children on her own as a single parent.

The outlet also noted she was an Ohio native who founded her own fashion business at one stage. She became a published author and prefers to stay away from the public’s eye aside from appearing on her children’s social media posts now and then. 

These days, the businesswoman and author is estimated to be worth anything from $1 to $10 million. 

Steve Harvey and Marcia Harvey’s Children

Steve and Marcia welcomed their twins, Karli and Brandi Harvey, in 1982. 

Karli is a public speaker who mentors through the Harvey and Majorie Foundation. She is also a TV star and appeared in Black Love and Steve Harvey.

She settled down with her husband, Ben Raymond, a motivational speaker, in 2015 and welcomed their son a year later.

Meanwhile, her twin, Brandi, serves as the Chief Change Maker and Executive Director of the Steve & Marjorie Foundation.

She is the founder of Beyond Her, an online meal prep website for women, and hosts a podcast called Beyond Her and Twin Talk.

According to her Instagram, she is also the author of Breakthrough Sold Separately. 

Steve and Marcia’s third child, Broderick Harvey, was born in 1991. According to his Instagram page, he is a producer and has made TV appearances on Steve Harvey.

He is a social media star and frequently posts photos of his fashion, travels, and family.
