Towering at six foot three with his good looks, coupled with his rugged background and training as a boxer, Belfast native Rob Evans was discovered and quickly swept into the modeling world.

He took the fashion world by storm, walking in shows for Givenchy and Trussardi.

He also appeared in some of the most prominent publications in the world, including i-D, Numero Tokyo, Johnson, Self Service, to name a few.

He was the judge on the show in 2012 and 2013 and was accused of making homophobic comments to gay contestants.

But comments aside, he made headlines when he and Tyra Banks, the resident judge and host of the show, were allegedly dating. The show probably brought the two closer because, at one point, there was a rumored fling between the two. 

Rumors between Rob Evans and Tyra Banks

Evans was rumored to be dating the former supermodel in 2012. The two have a 14-year age gap between them. According to Huffington Post, the infatuated duo was seen enjoying cocktails in Palihouse in Los Angeles. Evans picked up the bill, and the two were dashed to a hotel. 

According to a source, Evans had his arms around Banks as they walked towards the elevator. A few days later, there was another report of the two being spotted together. The two were having a very cozy champagne brunch at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach.

This led to increasing speculations that Banks was his girlfriend.

But the brunch was not the end, though, as it was reported that the twosome stayed for a romantic two-day getaway.

However, before the rumors could blow up, Banks stepped in and cleared the air. 

Rob Evans and Tyra Banks Relationship

A few months after the rumors started circulating, Banks appeared on the November episode of The Wendy Williams Show to talk about the season finale of America’s Next Top Model. And naturally, host Wendy Williams did not shy away from asking her about Evans. 

According to Banks, their relationship was purely professional.

I am his boss, but not in the bedroom.

She explained that she took Evans out to dinner when they started working on America’s Next Top Model. After that, they went to his hotel in the lobby to have drinks, but she noted that the paparazzi and media outlets failed to report something important.

She revealed that they were actually not alone and that her “best friend with red hair” was at the table with them. She then described her relationship with Evans as more familial and less romantic.

The two of them shared a sister-brother bond. Which is a far cry from the prospective wife speculations thrown around on the internet.

She then joked that her “little brother” might be crushing on his sister.

The model has dated many men over the years. Currently, she is with her boyfriend of three years, Louis Bélanger-Martin.
