On March 16, TikTok star Quen Blackwell posted a series of TikToks levying grooming allegations against an unnamed culprit. 

“Throwback to that time I was getting groomed and all the 40-year-olds around me were like, ‘Your souls are so in sync,’” said Blackwell. 

She added that she was not in a good situation, and they should have called the police instead of making the situation worse. 

The TikTok was captioned “Never link with 40-year-olds” and had gone viral with over 860,000 views. 

Everyone claimed Blackwell was referring to DJ Diplo in the comments section. 

One user wrote, “wait is this Diplo?” while another asked if she referred to the DJ. 

Some user also showed their support for the former Vine star. 

“Shout out to you for figuring it out and getting yourself out of there,” one user wrote. Another one wrote, “Why did I think he was just being a nice man by letting you live with him?” 

Quen Blackwell And Diplo Grooming Allegations

The netizens were convinced Blackwell's grooming TikTok was about Diplo because, in 2020, the duo was criticized for their friendship.

After Blackwell shared she was living in Diplo’s Los Angeles home, many people thought that the 41-year-old DJ might be grooming the then 19-year-old. 

However, both Blackwell and Diplo quickly shut down those rumors in a series of tweets, claiming that they were just friends. 

Diplo noted that people were twisted for thinking he was grooming Blackwell just because he rented out one of his properties.

“As a landlord, I don’t really consider age or race as a qualification. U just gotta pay a security deposit. And don’t poke holes in the walls or ruin my carpet,” said Diplo. 

Blackwell also addressed the allegations with a TikTok, where she revealed she was living with the DJ who supported her musical endeavors. 

In a tweet of her own, she claimed she was an adult and they had a platonic relationship. 

“Diplo has given me the opportunity and the security to create. He and his team are my mentors in LA and have saved me numerous times from the weirdos in LA,” she tweeted.

She added that even her parents trusted him.

Diplo Sued for Sexual Battery

This is not the first time Diplo has made headlines for his questionable behavior.

Last September, TMZ reported that the DJ was being sued by a woman who claimed she was forced to perform oral sex on him, which was recorded without her permission. 

According to the court documents, the alleged victim claimed she was invited to the DJ’s after-party following one of his Vegas concerts in 2019. 

She said she was intoxicated when she reached the party with her friends. 

Diplo gave everyone, including her, more weed and alcohol at the party and eventually invited her to his private room. 

His security team kicked everyone out, including her male friend, whom the bodyguards allegedly physically assaulted when he refused to leave without her.

The woman alleged that the DJ did not allow her to leave until she performed sex acts on him. 

Fearing for her safety and realizing there was no way out, she relented.

However, Diplo’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, claimed the accusations were outrageous since they resembled that of her friend, Shelly Auguste.
