Oded Fehr and His Wife Are Raising a Budding Movie Business Star
Oded Fehr's love story with his wife, producer Rhonda Tollefson, began at an opera house. The show business couple met a while before the turn of the century and tied the knot in 2000.
Parents, more often than not, pass on their talents to their children. And that is exactly what has happened in the Fehr household.
The couple's kids are already showing movie business prowess as mere teenagers. The family even filmed a short movie recently, with Fehr in front of the cameras and the three behind it.
Oded Fehr's Family Life with Wife Rhonda Tollefson
Fehr and Tollefson met at the Los Angeles Opera, one of the biggest opera companies in the US, although when exactly they met is yet unknown.
The Good Wife actor and the producer tied the knot on December 22, 2000, and their parenthood journey started soon after.
Fehr and Tollefson reportedly welcomed their first kid, son Atticus Fehr, on January 4, 2003. However, a post on his Instagram from September 15, 2021, and the comments underneath it suggest that day was his birthday and not January 4.
Then, they had their second kid and first daughter, Finley, on February 26, 2006. And finally, in 2010, their second daughter, Azelie, was born.
According to his bio on one of his fan websites, the Fehr family lived in Ojai, California, as of April 2009.
Oded Fehr's Son Atticus Is an Up-And-Coming Movie Director
Fehr has been in the entertainment industry since 1994. And his wife, Tollefson, has worked as a producer in the show business since 1995. They have a lot of know-how about the industry, movie-making, and acting.
And it looks like they passed all that on to their children. All three of their kids have already had a decent experience in movie-making.
On June 28, 2020, Fehr uploaded a couple of videos — a two-part movie — that he said he made with his kids. The Mummy actor acted in the short movie, titled I hope life is very good, whereas his kids were mostly behind the camera.
Atticus might have been the one who did most of the work behind the scenes, which is an assumption based on his recent works. He looks to be the more gifted one among the three siblings as of now.
The now-18-year-old has already written and directed a short film called The Bereaved. He produced the movie alongside his father, crowdsourcing most of the funds through a GoFundMe campaign.
They had a target of raising eight thousand dollars. However, after raising $6,750, the movie, which fell under his 'Snake Tooth' student short film project, was released on May 29, 2022, on Vimeo. The end credits of the movie hint that the family still resides in Ojai.
Not only did Atticus direct the movie, but he was also the director of photography and the visual editor for the project.

And now, he just finished work on Where The Crawdads Sing, a Sony Pictures Entertainment production. In this one, he worked alongside his mother.
As for what Atticus's sisters will be doing if they will enter the entertainment business remains to be seen. But one thing is certain — Fehr will gush about their accomplishments fairly frequently on Instagram.
