Nick Kyrgios’ Ex Girlfriend Chiara Passari Not Optimistic about His New Romance

It had barely been a couple of months since the drama from Nick Kyrgios' and his former girlfriend Chiara Passari had not made headlines. 

After all, Kyrgios has already moved on as he is seen flaunting his new girlfriend, Costeen Hatzi, on Instagram these days. 

However, the former girlfriend reignited the drama when she called podcaster Brittany Hockley a social climber for inviting Kyrgios on her podcast. 

Previously, Passari had reached out to Dailymail to warn Hatzi that her new romance might not be what she was expecting.

Nick Kyrgios Gushing over Newfound Love

Kyrgios recently sat down for a chat with Hockley for her podcast, Life Uncut, where he talked about how he met his new girlfriend for the first time, amongst other things. 

Of course, no one can blame him for gushing over his Hatzi. 

Later, Hockley took to Instagram with a clip from his time on the podcast, with a caption that read: "I love love so I love seeing this guy so happy. There’s definitely a side to Kygs many people don’t get to see."

Apparently, Passari couldn't keep her disagreement to herself and had to rush to the comments section to make herself heard. 

Nick Kyrgios' Former Girlfriend Slammed Brittany Hockley

In the now-deleted comments (via Dailymail), Kyrgios former girlfriend accused the podcast host of being a social climber and breaking the "girl code." 

For context, Passari and Hockley know one another from tennis circles since Hockley is also dating a player, Jordan Thompson. 

"You were there alongside us most of the travels and only had interests in connecting with the famous people," Passari said of Hockley. 

"You know how Nick really was, but you still acted blind towards it in hopes to climb to the top," she further accused. 

Further along in her rant, Passari claimed that everything the tennis pro said about his new partner was redundant. They were all things he used to say about her. 

[Kyrgios] has a playbook – stop being blind to his awful abusive behaviour just for the views.

Hockley defended herself over a reply out of courtesy and explained that Passari's relationship with Kyrgios did not have anything to do with the relationship.

However, she refused to be mashed up in somebody else's relationship drama. 

Chiara Passari Not Optimistic about New Romance

This was not the first time that Passari took her failed relationship with the tennis bad boy to the public sphere.

Back in late December 2021, Kyrgios made his relationship with Hatzi Instagram official, and shortly after, Passari told Dailymail Australia that she was not at all optimistic about Kyrgios' newfound love.

She claimed that the tennis pro was reaching out to her to talk "about feelings" nearly a few weeks before he broke the news about his new relationship. 

She suspected that Kyrgios's relationship with Hatzi would follow the same trajectory as theirs — starting with over-the-top demonstrations of attention and affection before descending into constant bickering.

Her exact words were: "This girl has no idea what she's in for. The exact same things happened to me. He moves on [quickly] because he is too afraid to be alone."
