Damian's Mother Was Sick

Damian had first been vocal about his mom's deteriorating health through a tweet on October 23, 2021. "Dearest friends, I am sad to say my mother's health is not doing well," he had disclosed, requesting his followers to send their prayers for her.

Two days later, he updated his fans that his mother was doing better. The California native thanked all his well-wishers and shared he was waiting for uplifting news the next day.

Then, on October 26, 2021, Damian tweeted the prayers were working. He added, "Thanks you all again for your prayers for mom!"

Although Damian shared about the deteriorating health of his mom and announced her demise, he didn't mention the reason behind her death.

Damian Lost His Father in the Early 2010s

Long before his mom's death, Damian had lost his father, Larry Weir, in 2013. Weir was an Irish and French-Canadian veteran army who served in the US Navy and Air Force during WWII.

Though death separated the father-son duo, Damian has kept his dad alive in his heart through unforgettable memories.

"Happy Father's day to the most wonderful dad ever," he wrote, posting a picture of him on his socials on June 21, 2020.

After that, the Flicka star recounted how his dad selflessly dedicated his life to his family. Damian also walked down memory lane, remembering how his father would help every friend in need.

"We miss you so dearly," the talented artist added as he asserted he and his family would always keep him in their thoughts and prayers.
