Lala Kent and Randall Emmett, 50, have a daughter, Ocean, whom they welcomed last March. They were engaged in September 2018 but split up in October.
On the season 9 reunion of Bravo's Vanderpump Rules, Kent grew upset when discussing her separation with the Shortcut to Happiness producer.
Kent, 31, was in tears in a teaser released in January 2022 as she talks about her ex-fiancé.
"The fact that this man... he made me feel safe enough to bring a child into the world, I feel disgusted."

The podcast host also said that Emmett was “creeping around” on her, addressing the infidelity rumors about the father of her daughter.
Kent has previously spoken about Emmett’s behavior saying that he had been allegedly cheating on her repeatedly with not one but multiple women.
She claims to have not seen it coming as she figured no one would want to “creep around” with Emmett, who used to be on the phone constantly.

The viewers of Vanderpump Rules were kept in the dark about the reality star’s dating life, despite introducing Kent to them in 2014.
The Give Them Lala author started dating Emmett before the start of season 5 and kept their relationship quiet for two years, up until 2018.
They announced their engagement a while after they became a public couple.
Emmett was going through a split with Ambyr Childers, the star of the NBC crime thriller Aquarius when he met Kent.
He shared two daughters, London and Rylee, with her. The new pair had a difficult time dealing with the producer's messy personal life.
Also, the fact that the pair had to postpone their nuptials due to the COVID-19 crisis didn’t help. The filmmaker told how “heartbreaking” it was for the both of them to wait longer.
However, they fell madly in love with each other and became “best friends.”
”He’s my best friend. He takes care of my heart and my soul. That’s important when you’re in a relationship,” said Kent to Cosmopolitan in 2018.

After Kent "liked" a meme about Emmett supposedly cheating on her, the couple prompted split rumors in October. She was seen without her engagement ring in Los Angeles a few days later.
Unfortunately, for Kent, the ring she prized so much turned out to be fake. According to her, Emmett had told her that it was worth six figures.
Kent said that Emmett knew exactly what he was getting. She regrets that she was with a person who was never “truthful and honest” to her during the five years they spent together.

When it comes to co-parenting Ocean, Kent and Emmett are on a tight schedule. Kent has her the majority of the time with the couple communicating very little with each other.
