Kunal Nayyar and Wife Neha Kapur Celebrate 10 Years Together

Kunal Nayyar is one of those actors who has been married for a long time. Recently, he celebrated his tenth anniversary with his partner, Neha Kapur.

The pair got married in Delhi in an elaborate wedding ceremony on December 22, 2011.

On December 22, 2021, The Big Bang Theory star uploaded an adorable video of Kapur dancing, at what seems like, a night party.

She is dancing to the song 'Iko Iko' by Justin Wellington, featuring Small Jam.

Via the captions, he gushed about how lucky he was to have Kapur as his wife.

He wrote about how they might be "unconventional," but they promised each other to "not live our lives according to someone else's version of it."

He dubbed her his partner and best friend and admitted that he was lucky to have tomorrow for "whatever is to come."

He ended his caption wishing his spouse a "Happy 10th."

The same day, Kapur also wished her husband via Instagram. She posted two pictures of the couple — the first one was a selfie, and the second was a black and white mirror selfie. 

She wrote, "Like rivers.. we chose our own paths and come back to merge as one," and wrote the date of the anniversary. She ended the caption similar to Nayyar's, wishing him a happy tenth anniversary. 

She also took to Instagram stories to share a picture of the couple on a beach. She wrote the date "22.12.2021" and the caption "10 years."

The TBBT star and Kapur first met each other three years before their wedding. Nayyar's cousin set them up, and at first, the actor thought Kapur was out of his league. 

In a 2018 interview with Daily O, he described the moment he knew Kapur was the one for him.

He saw how she was with his family and the "unspoken language" between her and them.

That was when he knew Kapur was the partner he wanted for himself. For the model, it was when she went to LA to meet him. 

They spent some time alone when she realized "being with him was very natural." She did not have to try too hard to be with him, something she had never felt before.  

The two had a massive wedding celebration that lasted for almost a week. Over a thousand guests were invited to the ceremony held in their hometown in New Delhi, India. 

They had the wedding in a true Indian and Hindu culture where there were separate ceremonies for engagement, henna tattooing, and exchanging vows. 

Who Is Kunal Nayyar's Wife?

While Nayyar has had a lot of exposure as an actor, Kapur is famous in her own right. She was crowned the Femina Miss India Universe 2006, one of the most renowned pageants in India.

Alongside being the pageant's winner, she also won other titles like Femina Miss Photogenic and Femina Miss Fresh Face.

She also participated in Miss Universe 2006, where she represented India. 

She did not win the contest but made it to the top 20, the semifinals. She is currently in Los Angeles with her husband and runs a luxury fashion brand named Hensely. 

She debuted in Fall 2016 with Moda Operandi and continues to design and sell luxurious yet elegant garments to date.
