How Kevin Sorbo’s Wife Met and Married Hercules in Real Life
Kevin Sorbo has been married to his wife Sam Sorbo for nearly 25 years. Together, the couple is parents to three children and partners in movie making.
Faith has played a big role in keeping Sorbo and his wife's relationship strong. They say their faith has helped them overcome adversities and grow stronger together.
The two joined hands to make the 2017 Christiana movie Let There Be Light.
On top of Sorbo and Sam starring in the movie, he also directed it while she served as the producer and co-wrote the script.
The pair credit their faith for helping them weather their tough times and want to share their strength with others through Christian filmmaking.

How Kevin Sorbo And His Wife Met
Sorbo and Sam met on the set of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. He played the titular character in the series from 1995 to 1999 and ran into Sam, who appeared on the show in 1996.
The married couple opened up about what attracted them to each other during their talk with KeepTheFaith.
"He was very clever, and he flirted with me. And I think he was like, 'Oh! She flirts, and it's clever.' We have some clever banter. I am not saying anything out of school. It was just come really cute banter that went back and forth that made us both laugh. And that's very attractive."
Sorbo also recounted that the two had to act out a kissing scene initially, which allowed him to approach her easier. Their roles also facilitated the start of their romance.
Sam talked about how his role in the series and her life matched. "He's Hercules to me too. I met him on the set of 'Hercules.' I played a princess."
Two years after their first meeting, the couple tied the knot on January 5, 1998.
Kevin Sorbo And Wife Have Three Children
Three years after their marriage, the Hercules: The Legendary Journeys actor and his spouse welcomed their first child together, son Braeden Cooper Sorbo, on August 22, 2001.
Their family of three grew larger on March 31, 2004, when Sam gave birth to the couple's second son, Shane Sorbo.
Shane weighed 12 lbs. 6oz. at birth and broke the record at the Nevada hospital where he was born.
Sorbo and his wife welcomed their only daughter, Octavia Flynn Sorbo, in October 2005. When talking about the arrival of his daughter, Sorbo shared he always knew he would have three children.
"When we got married, I told my wife that we were going to have three kids. First two boys and then a girl. I can't (make predictions about) the stock market, but with babies I have been exactly right."
Sorbo and Sam also had to deal with infertility in the initial years of their marriage.
Sorbo also had three strokes and was left partially blind and almost paralyzed.
He credits his spouse's "tough love" and unending support for being able to endure hardships and eventually recover.
