‘Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant’ Alum Kayla Jones Reveals Name of Her Baby No. 2

Former Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant alum Kayla Jones was introduced to fans during the third season of Young and Pregnant in September 2021. 

During that season, fans saw her and her then-partner, Makel Kennedy, welcome their first baby daughter, Mecca. The former couple had difficulty navigating their co-parenting relationship as Kennedy moved on with other women.

Jones also moved on, and in February 2022, she surprised her fans by announcing she was pregnant with baby number two. 

She took to Instagram to share she was having “another little princess” and noted that her first daughter was excited to be a big sister. Jones also iterated that her second pregnancy differed from her first. 

“My first experience was filled with defensiveness and unpleasant emotions. But then, I realized this would be my second chance to enjoy and bask in the experience once more,” wrote the soon-to-be mom-of-two. 

Kayla Jones Reveals the Name of Her Second Baby

On June 21, 2022, the Teen Mom alum finally gave birth to her baby girl. She shared her daughter’s birth simply by writing, “She’s here!” on her Instagram stories.

In a follow-up Instagram story featuring a photo of what appears to be her heart monitor, she thanked everyone who wished her a safe delivery and added she was exhausted.

She didn’t reveal her daughter’s name until August 13, 2022. That day, she shared a close-up photo of her daughter, writing, “Palar Noelle. These seven weeks have flown by. But the most precious seven weeks ever."

Since becoming a mom-of-two, she has been updating fans on how she parents two young daughters. On July 20, 2022, she shared a video of her getting her two kids ready and admitted that morning was tough in the caption.

She said it took them almost two hours, which was not so bad, but acknowledged that the older they get, the harder it will be. In another relatable mom post, she talked about how her sleeping schedule had changed.

As a mom to a newborn, she either stayed up an extra hour or two catching up on shows, which ended up with her falling asleep at 4 am or not being able to sleep because the kid was awake. 

Who Is Kayla Jones’ Second Baby Daddy?

Although Jones shared the name of her daughter and gave glimpses of her new life, the one thing she is keeping a secret is the identity of her second baby daddy. 

Fans thought it was Kennedy, but while opening up to former co-stars Kiaya Elliott and Rachel Beaver during the Young and Pregnant episode, she dismissed the speculation.

She stated the news of her second pregnancy crushed her first baby daddy. “We haven’t been together for two years. So it’s like, I’m going to move on,” said Jones.

The Young and Pregnant star explained that she and the father of her second daughter were not in a relationship and that he preferred to stay out of the limelight.

The duo dated each other for a few months, but they were never serious about committing, and Jones fell pregnant. It looks like Jones is keeping her lips sealed for the time being.
