Josh Duhamel and Audra Mari Are Officially Married

Congratulations to the newly married couple, Josh Duhamel and Audra Mari. 

The pair married at Olivet Lutheran Church in Fargo, North Dakota, on September 10, 2022. Page Six reported eyewitnesses had seen the duo “posing and happily pumping their fists in the air” after exchanging their vows.

They also shared images of the couple taking photos in a vintage red convertible. The bride wore a white dress with princess sleeves and a sweetheart neckline while her hair was sleeked back in a bun under her veil. Meanwhile, the groom wore a three-piece tux for the occasion.

The news of them being married comes just nine months after Duhamel proposed to his girlfriend in January 2022, about which he spoke to US weekly. He admitted everything was spontaneous.

“I just sort of decided last minute that was how I wanted to do it. I had nothing planned. I didn’t have a ring yet, but I was like, ‘OK, you gonna do this today.’ And that’s just how it kind of happened,” said the actor. 

Duhamel proposed to the former Miss Teen North Dakota with a surprise message in a bottle timed to float on the shore while they were walking on the beach.

The couple started dating in May 2019 after meeting through mutual friends. That same year in October, they were spotted packing on the PDA at an airport in Toronto. Duhamel was in Canada for a film shoot, and Mari was visiting him.

In December 2019, the duo attended a Christmas party together in Los Angeles, and according to onlookers, they were together all night, and Duhamel was introducing his lady to everyone at the party. 

The following month, the Safe Haven star opened up about his new relationship during an interview on the Dan Patrick Show. The actor shared he was attending a Vikings football game that day with Mari, his father, and Mari’s father. 

When the show’s host, Dan Patrick, asked him if he loved Mari more than the Vikings, the actor replied, “Of course I do.”

In another interview with Entertainment Tonight’s Lauren Zima, Duhamel revealed more details about his relationship with his now wife during the premiere screening of his new NBC series The Thing About Pam.

When asked when he knew that the former beauty queen was the one for him, he shared that he knew “pretty early on.”

“She’s an awesome girl, [and] she’s perfect for me. We’re both from North Dakota, and I think there’s a commonality that we have. She’s great,” noted the actor. 

It appears Duhamel is not the only one who gave his stamp of approval to Mari. His son, Axl, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Fergie, is also fond of Mari. The former model revealed to Us Weekly that his son has a sweet bond with his fiancée. 

“He is very excited about [our engagement]. That was a big part of it. They get along great. It’s been good,” Duhamel said.
