John Whaite is well known for his amazing triumph on the Great British Bake Off in 2012 at only 23 years of age.

Whaite later studied Patisserie at Le Cordon Bleu in London and owns a cookery school in Lancashire.

John is a well-known television figure, but Paul Atkins, John's fiance, likes to keep himself away from all the limelight.

This year, the chef star was also a part of the dancing show, Strictly Come Dancing, where he stunned everybody with his suave dance moves.

John Whaite and His Partner

Whaite and his partner Paul Atkins have been together for twelve years. They got engaged in 2017.

They first met via Facebook in 2008 and have been each other's rock ever since.

Atkins is a graphic designer who lives in Leeds with his better half.

Although he rarely posts pictures of him and his partner together on his Instagram, he does appear on Whaite's feed now and again.

However, the couple once appeared together on the cover of Attitude Magazine in 2014.

Whaite and Atkins had been seen discussing potential wedding plans, but the lovebirds are in no hurry to get married just yet and have been taking their time enjoying their engagement.

Atkins also revealed that he would want his wedding to be a low-key affair.

The couple has expressed their desire to capture all the moments in their life and use them to make their life beautiful.

Whaite and Atkins constantly make it a point to appreciate what they have achieved.

John Whaite on 'Strictly Come Dancing'

The former Great British Bake Off winner is one of the first participants to be paired up as the first-ever-all-male-couple of Strictly Come Dancing alongside professional dance partner Johannes Radebe.

Whaite and Radebe's chemistry on the dance floor was much appreciated, and the sizzling duo gave performances that touched people's hearts.

In an interview with Mirror, Whaite revealed that he couldn't control his tears while rehearsing.

It was such a relief to be excluding all the masculine routines over something more sensitive.

Whaite also thanked Atkins for being with him throughout his journey and said he couldn't have made it this far without Atkins' support.

Rumors about the John Whaite—Johanns Radebe partnership being affected by "The Strictly Curse" hit the headlines hard.

When asked about it, Whaite brushed it off with a laugh. "When we are dancing, we only focus on our dance and try to give our best," he said in response.

Since dance is all about emotions, they try to convey that message as naturally as possible through their act.

Whaite and Radebe are good friends who plan to celebrate their dancing journey with a big night out.

The dancing duo has created a strong bond together and unwittingly has been staying away from the curse people claim comes with the reality show.

All the time they spent together practicing has made them the best of friends.
