Four-time Pro Bowl performer Jeff Garcia retired from football in 2011 after a very successful career. Though he has stopped playing professionally, he is still involved in the sport.

He runs several youth football camps through his Jeff Garcia Football Program, aiming to coach and nurture the next generation of football players.

Aside from his youth football camps, he served as a member of the board of advisors for the reconstituted United States Football League (USFL) launched in May 2012. Garcia was also hired by the Los Angeles Rams as an offensive assistant in May 2015.

Despite having retired for a decade, Garcia is still very passionate about sports. However, he is not the only one in his family who loves the sport. All of his children play football and love it.

Jeff Garcia's Post-Retirement Life

The former NFL quarterback has been focused on his family after retirement. Garcia, who is married to the Playmate of 2004, Carmella DeCesare, often posts about their four children — Preston, Jax, Jason, and Faith.

Garcia takes great pride in his children and has passed on his love for football to them. He bonds with his kids through the sport and previously talked about spending time with his sons discussing the game.

Nothin like chillin with the boys, all bundled up on a Sunday mornin with #nfl #football… I’m usually traveling to the Bay on the weekends but nothing is better than this, being with my kids, talking football with my boys, breaking down plays, comparing our @espn #fantasyfootball.

Jeff Garcia And His Wife's Relationship

It’s not clear when Garcia and DeCesare got together, but when talking to Cleveland Magazine in September 2004, her mother, Carmen Figueroa, confirmed that Garcia was seeing her daughter. On April 21, 2007, the two tied the knot at the CordeValle Resort in San Martin, California.

Garcia even called his wife his “agent” in 2012, saying any teams wanting to approach him had to convince his wife as their life was incredibly hectic with four young children.

It’s absolutely crazy. I don’t know how we function given the lack of sleep we deal with. But it’s a blessing. It’s nuts having four so close together and so young, but at some point they’re going to appreciate the fact that they are close.

Garcia has expressed appreciation for his wife for raising four children with him on multiple occasions. On top of working together as parents, they also established the Garcia Pass It On Foundation.

The foundation was established to share resources with people in less fortunate circumstances. The couple hopes to give back tangibly to causes that are close to their hearts and pass on their successes to enrich the lives of children.

Through his Eyes Up Foundation, Garcia also helps generate awareness and financial assistance toward scholarships, resources, and support to low-income communities.

According to his website, his goal is to use his professional accomplishments on the field as a springboard to help give back and support others.
