Inside Jameson Rodgers and Sarah Allison Turner’s Relationship
Congratulations are in order for Jameson Rodgers, who is now a married man after tying the knot with his longtime love, Sarah Allison Turner, on September 5.
Jameson Rodgers’ Wedding to Sarah Allison Turner
The two country singers walked down the aisle at The Venue at Birchwood, located right outside Nashville amongst their closest friends and family. According to People, who exclusively reported the story, the bride and groom wrote their own vows and read them privately after their first look.
The 'Some Girls' singer took to Instagram and shared a photo carousel of the big day and expressed his happiness and love for his wife in the caption. Several of their friends from the industry congratulated them, with lovely comments coming from Jacob Davis and Nicole Combs, Luke Combs's wife.
The country singer also shared a few words about his wedding with People, saying,
I’ve never felt more loved than I did last Sunday with all our friends and family in one place celebrating Sarah and me. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with Sarah.
Meanwhile, the bride shared she had always known Rodgers was the one as cliche as it sounded. However, they finally decided that it was the right time to get married, as they felt confident and stable enough in their relationship to build a life together.
Jameson Rodgers and Sarah Allison Turner’s Love Story
Rodgers met his wife in true Nashville fashion at a songwriting workshop at the iconic Bluebird Cafe 10 years ago. After getting acquainted with one another and years of writing songs together, they looked at each other one night and decided maybe there was something more going on.
The two dated for almost five years before Rodgers proposed to Turner in October last year. Turner didn’t see the proposal coming.
The singer iterated that she thought she was walking into Bluebird Cafe for an interview for a songwriting documentary. Instead, she found Rodgers down on one knee, popping the question to which she was ready to say yes.
Fast forward to almost a year later; the couple is now married. For the ceremony, Turner opted for a stunning dress by Allure at Glitz Bridal and jewelry from Olive + Piper while the groom was in a suit from Jos. A. Bank.
As for the secret to their long-lasting relationship, Turner shared that communication was essential.
It’s so simple, but it really makes a difference in the midst of busy schedules. We’ve also always had a mutual level of trust and respect for each other. That’s been a great foundation to build on.
The couple is planning to honeymoon in Mexico later this year, but before that, Rodgers will head out on the road for most of the fall season for his 'Cold Beer Calling My Name' tour.
