Hugh Grant is a proud and committed father to five children, besides being one of the renowned English actors.

Even though The Undoing star, aged 61, remains tight-lipped when it comes to the details of his little ones, he often expresses his love for them and the fact that he's so proud of his five children.

"It's just lovely to have all that love around," he said of his children and present wife, Anna Eberstein, on People TV.

He added, "Suddenly you love someone more than yourself. It's unheard of in my case and they love you and it's all enchanting."

In case you didn't know, Grant shares his five kids with two women, one of whom is his ex-girlfriend Tinglan Hong and current partner, Eberstein.

The actor's ex, Hong, is an extremely low-key personality who is often reported in the media as a receptionist at a Chinese restaurant in London.

Some media also reported that she is a Chinese actress. But those details about her aren't confirmed.

So, when Grant and Hong were a thing in the early 2010s, they gave birth to their first child [Grant's first] together in September 2011. They had a daughter named Tabitha Grant.

According to reports, the actor's eldest daughter was born following what his publicist called a "fleeting affair" between the lovebirds.

After the birth, the Bridget Jones's Diary actor got candid about being a father to his little girl during an interview with Daily Telegraph in 2012.

"I like my daughter very much," he told the publication. "[She's] fantastic."

In December 2012, three months after having his second child with now-wife Eberstein [we'll talk about it shortly], the actor had his third child with Hong.

This time, they welcomed a son, whom they later named Felix Chang Hong Grant.

Shortly after that, Grant and Hong ended their relationship and allegedly stayed in touch to co-parent the two children they had together.

The famed star's wife, Eberstein, with whom he shares three children, is a television producer and retail director from Sweden.

Grant began dating her after having his first baby with his former girlfriend.

The couple, however, didn't take much time to have their first baby together [Grant's second], as they welcomed a son, John Mungo Grant, in September 2012.

That said, the actor kept the details under wraps for a long time — eventually revealed in January 2014.

Grant and Eberstein subsequently had their second [the actor's fourth] child, a girl, in 2015, and their third [his fifth] child, another girl, in 2018. But the couple is yet to disclose the names of their last two kids.

They have been private so much that the actor confirmed having "three kids together" with his longtime partner while chatting with Today in 2018.

In March the same year, Grant's ex-girlfriend Elizabeth Hurley, whom he dated for over 13 years, also stated that he was a father of five during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live.

Moreover, after becoming parents to three kids together, the actor and Eberstein finally tied the knot in May 2018.
