Hailey Bieber practically grew up in front of our eyes, going from an actor's daughter to a full-fledged supermodel.

Thus, one can assume she is accustomed to having attention on her all the time.

But negative attention is something nobody wants. And Hailey has received plenty of those over the years.

Plastic surgery rumors seem to be the ones she is bothered by the most.

Has Hailey Bieber Had Plastic Surgery?

Hailey Bieber is a supermodel, which means she goes through hours of makeup sessions and gets her pictures taken frequently.

Makeup, sometimes, makes people look vastly different from how they would look without it.

Adding to this is the fact that she's been in front of cameras practically her entire life. So, it's easy for people to see the differences in her as she has grown older.

These are exactly what Bieber has fallen victim to. Over the years, there have been many speculations about her getting plastic surgery done.

She has responded to a few of these over the years.

In May 2020, Instagram account @beautyambra, which seems to deal with makeup memes, posted a side-by-side comparison of Bieber's face in 2011 and 2020.

In the pictures, as reported by Teen Vogue, Bieber had a bit of a round baby face in 2011 while her jawlines were more defined. But in 2011, she was 14, and in 2020, 23.

Somehow, the post fell onto Bieber's radar, and she took to the comment section to provide a fitting response to the person behind the upload.

"Stop using pics that are edited by makeup artists! This photo on the right is NOT what I look like…."

Bieber wrote. "I've never touched my face, so if you're gonna sit around and compare me at 13 and then me at 23, at least use a natural photo that wasn't edited so crazy."

Still, this response didn't stop people from speculating.

Bieber Threatened to Sue Doctor over Plastic Surgery Speculations

The same month, another cosmetic procedure-related page, this time on TikTok, posted another comparison of her. But this time, it was a doctor who did so.

Dr. Daniel Barrett, a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, did a TikTok about Bieber's history with cosmetic procedures.

In the post, he speculated the model could not have gone from looking like she did on the first picture to the second one without treatments.

Rhinoplasty, skin tightening procedures, jawline contouring, genioplasty, and lip and cheek fillers were the things he suggested in the video.

This caught fire. So much so that Bieber decided to take legal action against him.

Bieber and her husband Justin issued a cease and desist letter to Dr. Barrett, accusing him of spearing false information, misappropriation of name, likeness, and image for commercial purposes, defamation slander, and copyright infringement, among others.

She also demanded a public statement from the doctor, asking him to retract his claims. Further, she also asked him to retract similar posts about other A-list celebrities.

Dr. Barrett, however, stood his ground at the time and said the purpose of his TikTok account was only to increase awareness about plastic surgeries.

He remarked that those were only his opinions based on pictures on the internet, and he did not intend to harm the model in any way.
