Who is Graham Nash's wife now?

In April 2019, singer-songwriter Graham Nash made the headlines after getting married to his wife, Amy Grantham, who is almost half his age.

In 2014, he met Grantham backstage at a Crosby, Stills & Nash show.

As of now, Nash is 81 years old. He was born in Blackpool, England on 2 February 1942.

The wedding with Grantham was Nash's third marriage overall. However, the talking point of the wedding was his tying the knot with his much younger partner.

According to Dailymail's April 2019 piece, the singer was 77 years old at the time of the wedding, whereas his girlfriend-turned-wife was 40 — they have an age difference of 37 years.

That said, the age difference does not seem to bother the couple, as they wed in two ceremonies in Scotland and Woodstock in the presence of their friends and family members.

Did Graham Nash have a son?

Graham Nash has two sons, Jackson (actor and director) and Will, and a daughter, Nile, and several grandchildren from his relationship with his now ex-wife Susan Sennett. All of his children are in their 40s now.

"I don’t speak to my boys at all. It’s terribly sad but maybe time will heal all wounds, maybe one day. I divorced their mother, you know?," he told Dailymail in 2018 about his relationship with his sons post his divorce with their mother.

The 'Marrakesh Express,' 'Our House' and 'Teach Your Children' singer added that his children weren't happy with the fact that he left their mother and started dating someone [Amy Grantham] of their age.

Nash also revealed that his s*x life with Amy was great

"I was married to the mother of my children for 38 years. During the last eight years, I was not in love and neither was my wife. When I divorced her, my children thought I divorced them, too, and they won’t speak to me. It’s awful. You’re looking at the man who wrote 'Teach Your Children,' and yet I didn’t do a complete job myself," he remarked about his relationship with his children in another interview.

Sennet died of cancer in September 2020, not long after Nash and Grantham's 2019 Woodstock wedding.

Graham Nash Divorced His Second Wife to be with Amy Grantham

Nash was married to his second wife, Susan Sennett, for 38 years until 2016. They used to live in their home in Hawaii.

Speaking with Dailymail in July 2018, the singer stated he was no longer in love with his missus after a certain point in the marriage.

"So what do I do?" he wondered.

He continued to share, "I figured, I'm at the end of my life, I could just settle, but I couldn't do that—my heart was screaming at me to move on."

Nash filed for divorce from his longtime partner, Sennett, in 2016, even though it was upsetting to his ex-wife and their three kids.

“I realized a couple years ago that I was not in love with my wife and I don’t think she was in love with me,” Nash shared. “Life happens. You have to move on and follow your heart. That’s what happened to me. I followed my heart.”

At the time, he was dating artist and photographer Amy Grantham with whom he started a new life in New York City after the divorce from Sennett.

"So I divorced my wife and fell in love with a woman who's just brilliant. She's half my age. I'm 76 now, she's not even 40 yet. Wild, eh?" the musician said of settling with his present spouse.

Besides, Nash was first married to Rose Eccles from 1964 until 1966, before he went on to date Joni Mitchell and then Sennett.

After his divorce from Eccles, he then forfeited his life in Manchester with The Hollies in 1968 to pursue his music career in California. He later received U.S. citizenship in the eighties.

Graham Nash and Amy Grantham Had a Special Wedding

After relishing the relationship for around three years, Nash and Grantham eventually walked down the aisle. And the wedding turned out to be one of a kind.

The couple first married in a pagan "handfasting" ritual in Scotland and followed it by an intimate legal ceremony in Woodstock.

During the conversation with Dailymail, the singer gushed about the wedding, saying they had a special wedding ceremony in the Scottish Highlands.

'We had a special ceremony in the Highlands and then a couple of weeks later we got married legally because the handfasting — which has been going on for a thousand years in Scotland — is not a legal wedding," he shared.

He added, "Romantic? Absolutely. Legal? Not. So to be able to protect Amy from the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, we decided we'd get legally married in a very small ceremony in Woodstock."

They wanted to marry in Scotland because Grantham, an artist, "loved Scotland for about the last 15 years."

"Amy is from Tallahassee in Florida, [but] she's gone there every year," Nash told the tabloid.

The singer also credited his wife for introducing him to the Highlands, as he apparently had never visited before.

When asked if he was confident his new marriage would last forever, Nash implied he was optimistic that he and Grantham will make it happen together.

"Yes. How long is the rest of my life? I'd like to make it to 100 and hopefully, still be singing," he hoped.
