How Many Children Does George Foreman Have with 5th Wife?
George Foreman married his fifth wife, Mary Joan Martelly, in 1985. The former professional boxer already had eight children and was in his mid-30s at the time of the wedding.
The fact, however, mattered little, as they have been going strong in their marriage since then.Â

In 2009, they adopted their third daughter, Isabella Brandie Lilja. The couple also welcomed another addition in their family, fourth daughter Courtney Isaac, through adoption in 2012.Â
As his daughters from his current spouse live a fairly private life, not much is known about their whereabouts.
Having said that, it is public knowledge that his daughter Natalie once attempted a singing career. Now, she is a professor of education. Â
George Foreman's Ex-wives and Children
Before Foreman tied the knot with Martelly, he had already walked down the aisle four times.Â
He was first married to Adrienne Calhoun for three years, from 1971 to 1974. After parting with his first wife, the famed boxer married Cynthia Lewis in 1977.
Their courtship lasted for two years, and Foreman tied the knot with Sharon Goodson. The new pair remained in a marital relationship for almost a year, between 1981 and 1982.Â
In 1982, Foreman married his fourth wife, Andrea Skeete. They were in a relationship for three years, till 1985.Â
Foreman had eight children from his relationship with multiple spouses — three daughters, namely Michi, Georgetta, and Freeda, and five sons.Â

Interestingly, he gave the same name to all his sons — George Edward Foreman — and added nicknames to differentiate them.Â
His kids' names are George Jr., George III ("Monk"), George IV ("Big Wheel"), George V ("Red"), and George VI ("Little Joey").
In his official bio, the boxer has explained why he named all his sons after the same moniker. And as per his accounts, he did so because they would always have something in common.Â
"If one of us goes up, then we all go up together. And if one goes down, we all go down together!" he additionally penned.Â
George Foreman's Daughter Died in 2019
Foreman's daughter Freeda passed away on March 9, 2019. The 42-year-old was found dead at her Houston home after an apparent suicide.
Before her death, Freeda had followed in her father's footsteps, trying her hands at boxing. She started her career in 2000 and retired a year later with a record of 5-1. Â

She dreamt of becoming a boxing promoter while looking after her family, her husband, two daughters, and three grandchildren.Â
After her saddening demise, Foreman took to Twitter to express his grief through a tear-jerking message on March 10, 2019.Â
"Daddy I want to Box,' Get an Education first' I said," he wrote, recounting the time his young Freeda had confessed her dream.
He then added that she brought the degree home just as he wanted and even got herself a family. He shared pictures of her diploma from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville and their snaps from the graduation day.Â
Then, he wrote, "First Sunday in 42 years without my Freeda," noting she was with her maker.
