Chris Rock's fans are asking him to sue Will Smith by shouting it at his Boston Shows while the comedian is at his Ego Death World Tour.

Will giving Chris a thunderclap on stage at 94th Academy Awards on March 27, 2022, is one of the most bizarre moments in the history of Oscars.

Jada Pinkett Smith, Will's wife, suffers from alopecia, an autoimmune disease that causes people to lose hair. As a result, she rocks a bald head, loudly and proudly.

While Chris was doing his monologue at the Oscars, he joked Jada could star in G.I. Jane since she looked like Demi Moore in the 1997 movie. Initially, Will laughed at the joke, but Jada rolled her eyes, possibly offended by it.

Soon after, Will walked up to the stage and slapped Chris across his face. The comedian was shocked by Will's response and tried to lighten the mood.

However, Will interrupted Chris, asking him to keep his wife's name out of his mouth.

Will Chris Rock Sue Will Smith?

The incident was soon turned into a meme, and many gave their opinions on it. Many celebrities supported Chris, while many took Will's side.

Chris did not talk about the slap for a day or two. But it was reported that the tickets for his tour, Ego Death World Tour, sold out in a couple of locations. Will Smith posing for a picture with his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith

His fans have been supportive of him, and some have even urged him to take legal action against the King Richard star. Chris is currently on his Ego Death World Tour and is doing Boston shows.

His fans and followers have been vocal about the incidents on his Boston shows. According to the New York Post, fans shouted expletives at Will on Chris' Boston show on March 31, 2022.

However, the comedian was quick to shut it all down. When people yelled and called names at Will, Chris went "no, no, no," asking the audience not to talk about the actor.

Similarly, on his first of the Boston Shows, a fan told Chris to sue Will. However, the comedian has no intention of pressing charges against him.

According to Variety, a friend of Chris said that he is not thinking about getting Will sued but is focusing on Ego Death World Tour.

The Aftermath of the Slap

As said before, Chris did not talk about the slap for a while. But when he did, he said he was still processing the incident.

He confessed it on his first show, saying that he would talk about the smackdown in the future. But on the other hand, the Academy is investigating Will and his situation.

After the actor slapped Chris, the Academy commented that they condemned his actions. They had an emergency meeting to look into it and launch a formal investigation into the situation.

If they find Will wrong, he might be indefinitely suspended from the award ceremony. Moreover, there are chances that the actor's Oscar, which he won for King Richard, might be taken back.
