Caleb Plant and His Wife on Their Heartbreaking Loss of Their Daughter
Caleb Plant is currently one of the best boxers in the world.
Growing up, he was trained by his father, a professional kickboxer, in a boxing ring marked out by tape on the ground.
And in 2019, the American boxer caught the world’s attention after his sweet victory against Jose Uzcategui.

That same year, Plant proposed to his wife Jordan Hardy, a Fox Broadcaster and renowned boxing reporter.
In November, they tied the knot in a private closed-off wedding ceremony.
Plant’s wife completed her Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Hardy is also a former track and field star who had competed in 100-meters hurdles in the past.
Currently, she is working as the Premier Boxing Champions Correspondent and Digital Asset Assistant Director in Haymon Boxing Management.
Today, Hardy helps Plant with everything — from his training schedules and matches to his diet and just looking out for him.
Hardy often shares glimpses of their life on social media, where she regularly posts about her work, loved up posts with Plant, and fitness-related content.
Caleb Plant Gushed About His Wife
Plant has often gushed about his wife, saying that they motivated each other always to do better.
“It’s a beautiful thing, but we never fight about anything in life, but our only arguments are about who’s doing better at the moment. We are both very competitive,” shared the boxer.
Meanwhile, Hardy noted that the only thing that changed since they married was her last name and saying that she has a husband.
She added that they have always been each other’s best friends, so nothing was different.
Hardy has undoubtedly been a pillar of support for the boxer, who had gone through many hurdles in life, including the loss of his daughter.
Caleb Plant on the Loss of His Daughter
Before Plant met his spouse, he was in a relationship with Carman Jean Briscoe-Lee.
The former couple welcomed their daughter, Alia Plant, born on May 7, 2013, but unfortunately, their daughter did not live long.
Their daughter passed away at less than two years old after being diagnosed with a brain abnormality, which caused seizures hundreds of times a few days.
She spent most of her time in and out of the hospital, and Plant was always there by her side, caring for her tirelessly.
Unfortunately, her condition worsened, which led to respiratory problems and her tragic death. The boxer, who had always dreamed of becoming a father, had his heart broken.
He promised to win a world title on behalf of his daughter, which he did in 2019 after beating Uzcategui. After the victory, Plant visited and placed his belt on his late daughter’s grave.
“I buried my daughter in the process of trying to get this belt. I promised her I’d become a world champion and that I’d bring her this title, and that’s exactly why I’m gonna go back to Tennessee and do,” said Plant of his defeat.
