Together, the actress and her producer husband have hit multiple major milestones in their relationship. They have also worked together on multiple projects.

Both Williams and Dodson aren’t shy about expressing their love for each other and often take to social media to post about their spouse.

Ashley Williams and Husband Neal Dodson's Relationship

Williams and Dodson met for the first time in the mid-2000s. The actress shared in an Instagram post that back when they first met, he was an assistant while she was on a TV show.

She also took the opportunity to write about how fast time had gone by and wished Dodson a Happy Valentine’s Day.

“Boom. Now we have two kids and live in an @airbnb in Canada. Never a dull moment, @nealdodson17 #happyvalentinesday I’m the LUCKIEST,” she captioned the post.

The pair tied the knot after roughly eight years together on May 29, 2011. The ceremony took place at the home of her sister Kimberly Williams-Paisley and her brother-in-law, country singer Brad Paisley.

The wedding was kept simple, with just 50 guests in attendance. When speaking about the celebration, the actress said they had “basically planned an upscale keg party.”

They Have Two Kids

Williams and her husband are parents of two kids. The pair welcomed their first child together, son Gus Williams Dodson, on October 5, 2014. Gus was delivered at home and weighed 8 lbs 8 oz, and measured 20 ½ inches long at birth.

Three years later, Williams announced she was pregnant once again with a tweet.

“Exciting news,” she wrote. “Gus asked for a pony but he’s getting a baby brother instead. Smaller poops.”

Son Odie Sal Dodson was born on May 17, 2017, in Los Angeles. His birthday is on the same day as his father’s birthday.

Odie got his first name from a great-grandfather of Dodson’s, while his middle name Sal is taken from the protagonist of the children’s books Blueberries for Sal and One Morning in Maine by Robert McCloskey.

Ashley Williams’ Miscarriage

After the birth of her first son, Williams suffered a miscarriage in the summer of 2016 while she was two months pregnant.

Realizing the silence surrounding conversations about miscarriages after experiencing it herself, Williams penned a personal account on Medium

She also partnered with the Human Development Project to speak publicly about the experience, aiming to reduce the stigma of miscarriage as well as to encourage women to talk openly about it.
