However, there are now rumors surrounding the couple saying they might have had a break up.

The break up speculations became more intense when she hinted about being single a few days ago on her Instagram stories.

On February 2, 2022, McNulty took to Instagram to post a few stories from the time she was having fun with her friends at a bar in the UK.

In one of those posts, she hinted that she had undergone a break up with her boyfriend.

The post contained her plans with Thursday, a dating app that's only live on Thursdays. The first hint about her dating status came when she announced she would be on the app soon.

Then, in the next line, she said that being on the app was her and her friends' "weekly tradition."

"Everyone single in a bar? Iconic," she wrote right after.

After this, Hynes's Instagram posts have filled up with comments from concerned fans wanting to know if they had broken up.

This was the case particularly on their post from January 25, 2022.

"Did you and amybeth break up???" someone wrote, following the question with three crying emojis. Someone else responded to the question saying, "looks like it"

Further down the comment section, fans expressed noticing something peculiar. They had noticed Hynes had stopped following McNulty on the platform.

It's not clear when this happened, but going by when the fans left these comments, it seems to have occurred at the start of February 2022.

A few others speculated that they might have split up in the replies to that particular comment.

Elsewhere, some other people also noticed that the unfollowing had gone both ways.

Amybeth McNulty and Louis Hynes Give Mixed Messages

Despite the posts about being single, McNulty and Hynes are giving mixed messages regarding their relationship.

The first mixed message comes from her side. She still has tweets and videos with him up on her Twitter and YouTube channel.

Additionally, she also has chosen to keep her post with them and a couple of her friends from August 31, 2021. The pictures are from their first festival since the COVID pandemic began.

Hynes, on the other hand, has more than a few posts with her still on his Instagram.

The couple started dating in May 2021 and celebrated their first anniversary on May 31, 2021. As reported by Hollywood Life, she wrote, "Happy one year" on her post.

They, too, posted on the day, and McNulty commented, "I like you an awful lot." on their post.

However, the Stranger Things actress has since deleted the post, and Hynes' post is nowhere to be found, either.
