Alyssa Miller is claiming Andrew Garfield to be hers and hers only.

November 2021 brought a lot of rumors about who Garfield's girlfriend was — Miller or Christine Gabel. And the confusion persisted for a while.

Then, it devolved into becoming break up rumors. Many major outlets speculated at the beginning of April that the couple — Garfield and Miller — had broken up.

However, that does not seem to be the case.

Alyssa Miller Shuts Break up Rumors Down

After months of speculation, Miller has stepped up to clarify things for good regarding her dating life with Garfield. The rumors also came at a peculiar time.

The Amazing Spider-Man actor and the model had made their first red carpet appearance together at the 2022 SAG Awards in February. So, the sudden break up rumors already seemed far-fetched.

Then, on April 3, 2022, Entertainment Tonight published a piece where they claimed that an anonymous source had confirmed the couple's split.

According to the source, the couple allegedly broke up because of work commitments and schedules, and it had been difficult for them to maintain their romance.

On April 4, 2022, however, Miller dispelled all these speculations through a post on Instagram.

"If you must gossip at least use a cute photo," she wrote in the post, firing fatal shots at the many doubts about them.

"Lol love you AG," she added, ending her caption with a butterfly emoji.

As for the picture she chose, it was indeed cute. It was a selfie where she was looking great as always, whereas he was making a face that looked like he was trying desperately to extend his lips to get to Miller's face.

With this upload, Miller confirmed she was still together with Garfield. And with this, she also made sure everyone knew he was dating her and not Gabel.

Origin of Alyssa Miller-Andrew Garfield Split Rumors

The rumors about Miller and Garfield breaking up began with the start of awards season in Hollywood. The two have been quite busy attending one award after another, many of which had nominated Garfield for his role in Tick, Tick… Boom!

This caused everyone to speculate that they might not have spent much time together and thus drifted apart. Before the Entertainment Tonight article, The Sun, too, published a piece claiming similar things about the couple.

The Sun's April 1 article said that an anonymous source confirmed the pair's break up to them.

Similar to the ET's insider, they said, "They were together for quite some time before they went public, but work schedules mean it has been really hard to see each other."

Further, the source also claimed Miller and Garfield had some differences, and they had "decided they are better off apart, for now at least."

Garfield was apparently upset about the split, but he was still "keeping his chin up."

This could have been a great April's Fool prank by the publication considering the date, but as other sources also reported the same days following this, it was most likely meant as a serious thing.

Either way, the sources were not correct in their guesses, and the couple is still dating.
