Fourth of July was special for Kirsten Corley and Chance The Rapper.
Famous musician, Chance The Rapper finally, aged 25, spit his heart out and proposed his longtime girlfriend, Kirsten Katrina Corley during an Independence Day party on 4 July 2018, Wednesday.
The engagement news was announced through a video when the Rapper's brother Taylor Bennett posted on Instagram saying 'Proposed In The Hunnids! @chancetherapper You A Real One! 7-4-18 #BlockBoy.'

The rapper got down on his one knee and said:
Kristen Katrina Corley, will you make me a man and be my wife?
Kristen could not deny the sweet gesture and said yes. After that, the daughter of the couple, Kensli, aged 2, also joined to be a part of the moment.
To confirm the engagement news, the Rapper took the news to his Twitter and tweeted: She said yes
But the couple had to face many ups and downs before reaching this happy moment. The pair, who started dating in 2013, welcomed their baby girl during the end of 2015.
Kirsten on February 2016 filed a petition pleading the court to declare Chance as Kensli’s father who shall remain the sole caretaker of the baby.
With that, she also wanted Chance to take more responsibility as a father by paying child support including expenses incurred during delivery, pregnancy and attorneys fees.
After a month Kirsten decided to amend the petition since both of them were living together and that he also had equal contribution in raising their daughter. To that, the rapper responded asking for a shared allocation of parental responsibility and reasonable parenting time.
Things took a different turn when only in less than three months the couple stopped living together, and Kristen filed paperwork seeking a parenting schedule.
On August 2016 Chance posted a video of him rapping to Monica’s “So Gone,” which was a famous challenge during that time in the social media called the #SoGoneChallenge. To everyone's surprise, at the end of the video, a quick glimpse of Kirsten can be seen.
But with the beginning of the new year 2017, the couple has some new opening as well. They started living together, and Kristen even withdrew the petition for parenting schedule. Chance also shared the first full snap on Kensli via Instagram.
