Wedding bells rang for Jack Brooksbank and Princess Eugenie of York!

European brand manager Jack Brooksbank, age 32, and Princess Eugenie, age 28, the Queen’s granddaughter, tied the knot at Windsor Castle on 12 October 2018.

But, Jack did not wear a wedding ring skipping the family tradition of using pure Welsh gold for wedding rings ever since the Queen Mother's wedding that was in 1923. The Queen was gifted a kilogram of gold mined from the Welsh mountains on her 60th birthday.

It is not that rare for men in the royal family to avoid wearing wedding rings as Prince William did the same. And while Prince Harry opted to get a wedding band, he broke the tradition in a way by wearing a platinum band.

However, the wedding was a massive success as Jack’s brother, Thomas Brooksbank acted out as the groom’s best man while Princess Eugenie’s sister, Princess Beatrice of York embraced the role of the maid of honor.

There were a total of six bridesmaids and two-page boys who were all children connected to the Royal family. The Queen was the last member to depart for the ceremony as per the tradition.

Jack waited for his wife, Eugenie at the end of the aisle who wore the Greville Emerald Kokoshnik tiara.

Princess Eugenie looked gorgeous on the wedding dress designed by Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos. It was developed layer by layer with a fitted bodice and full pleated skirt, featuring a neckline that folded around her shoulders to a low back, draping a full-length train.

Jack Brooksbank and Princess Eugenie were described as a perfect couple by the senior cleric, David Conner who pronounced them husband and wife. 

As a couple, they come across as just the perfect couple. They are very natural with each other, they obviously love one another but they also have a lot of fun together and it’s been a real pleasure to work with them (- said by David Conner)

The wedding was announced on 22 January 2018 after Jack, and Princess Eugenie got engaged in the same month.

Jack presented his wife with an oval-cut Padparadscha sapphire engagement ring that was surrounded by a halo of diamonds set on a gold band with two diamonds on the shoulders.

The pair had been dating for seven long years after being introduced by mutual friends during a ski break in Verbier, Switzerland where Jack was working at the time, and Jack described his meeting with Princess Eugenie as ‘love at first sight.’

Princess Eugenie is the second daughter of Duke of York, Prince Andrew and Duchess of York, Sarah, being the ninth in the line of British throne succession while Jack is a far relative of Princess Eugenie; he is the third cousin through the 2nd Earl of Leicester, Thomas Coke.

Today Jack is the European brand manager for the tequila company, Casamigos Tequila that was co-founded by George Clooney.

The 32-year-old brand ambassador hasn’t revealed his net worth to the public, but his combined net worth with Princess Eugenie is estimated to be above $4.7 million.
