Demi Lovato’s ‘Dancing With The Devil’ Gets An Extension, Includes Additional Songs and Bonus Track
Demi Lovato released her seventh album, Dancing With the Devil...The Art of Starting Over, on April 2 after a four-year-long hiatus. The album was a show of strength in the sense that she recreated a near-fatal drug overdose she suffered back in 2018.
Following the powerful release, Lovato came out with a new deluxe render to the album just three days later, with four more tracks added to the original.
Four New Tracks On the Delux LP
The deluxe LP released on April 5 consisted of one original bonus track titled Sunset, alongside acoustic recreations of four preexisting titles from the original release: Anyone, Dancing With the Devil, and ICU (Madison's Lullabye).
The live acoustic renditions were from the drive-in premiere of Lovato's four-part YouTube Originals docuseries Demi Lovato: Dancing With the Devil. On the same day, she had also released another title, Say A Prayer, which unfortunately did not make it into the album.
Lovato had released the first iteration of the album with nineteen tracks, including features with Sam Fischer, Ariana Grande, Saweetie, and Noah Cyrus. The digital release of the LP also included her previous Billboard Top 20 hits: I Love Me, I'm Ready featuring Sam Smith, and OK Not to Be OK with Marshmello as bonus tracks.
Fans Love Her New Album
The pop star also took to her official Instagram handle to announce the arrival of the deluxe rendition of her latest album. The post featured a still of the album art with her bonus track Sunset playing in the background.
Within a day of her announcement, over six hundred thousand viewers have interacted with the post. Thousands of fans also poured their love and support in the comments section, including one from the UFC star Emily Whitmire.

Besides Instagram, the artist also generated quite the hype on her Twitter and TikTok handles.
She Drew Inspiration From A Very Dark Place
The album Dancing With the Devil...The Art of Starting Over comes from a very dark phase of Lovato's life. The courageous act of coming forward with such a story in itself is admirable. Not unlike the album, the artist also came forward with her story with a four-part docuseries on YouTube.
The YouTube original revealed the happenings of that fateful night. Lovato revealed that after she overdosed on fentanyl-laced oxycodone and heroin in 2018, her drug dealer sexually assaulted her and left her for dead. She was later rescued from her Hollywood Hills home.
Even after such a fatal encounter, Lovato fell right back into using. However, as of now, she has mustered the strength to say no to drugs and lead a sober life.
