Taylor Swift Gifts ‘Cardigan’ To Fans & Celebs Such As Joey King, Kesha, & Colbie Caillat
'Folklore' is the 8th studio album by the songstress with 16 songs in the standard edition, and a bonus track “the lakes” in the physical deluxe editions.
The official lyrical video of all the songs of the album was released on YouTube on July 24, 2020. The first release of the album was the music video of the song ‘Cardigan.’ It was made on July 24, 2020. It is the only song from the album with a music video.
The songstress shared in on of her posts that 'Cardigan' was written and directed by her, and also thanked the other video team members: Rodrigo Prieto, Jil Hardin, Rebecca Skinner, and Joe 'Oz' Osbourne.
In her thank-you note to the team members of the ‘Cardigan’ Video, Taylor Swift shared that the music video was shot under medical supervision maintaining social distance and the team members wore masks.
She also added that she did the hair, makeup, and styling for the video herself.
A special thank you to our onset medics, COVID-19 compliance personnel, and the crew for operating under the strictest guidelines including wearing PPE, practicing thorough sanitization, and respecting social distancing during the video shoot.

It is made of acrylic yarn and has three light grey colored stars embroidery on each sleeve, black matte buttons, dark grey lining, and the folklore album patch inscribed on the left chest.
The cardigan is identical to the one featured in the Folklor’s lead single 'Cardigan.' In the video, Swift puts on the oversized cardi over a simple silk nightgown.
