The comedian was born on 21 June 1985 in the Mid-Atlantic region of Hershey, Pennsylvania and grew up with her two siblings brothers.

While her grandparents are believed to be from German ancestry, Michelle is often mistaken for being an African American by people because of her long red colored curly hair and her olive-skin complexion.

But Wolf claims to be 100% Caucasian and belongs to Germanic ethnicity. In a Daily Show from 2017, talking with Trevor Noah, she said:

“You know how I know I’m white? I can cry myself out of a parking ticket. Hell, I can cry myself out of a murder charge."

Wolf also admitted about feeling paranoid when the topic of her ethnicity arises and when people think that she is of mixed race.

In 2018, Michelle Wolf was selected as the host of White House Correspondents Dinner (WHCD) where she criticized President Trump’s political advisor Sarah Huckabee Sanders accusing her of covering up facts. She also criticized President Trump saying;

“I think what no one in this room wants to admit is that Trump has helped all of you. He couldn’t sell steaks, or vodka, or water, or college, or ties, or Eric. But he has helped you sell your papers, and books, and TV. You helped create this monster and now you’re profiting off of him.”

While many of her colleagues like Judd Apatow and Anthony Bourdain supported her, President Trump responded by criticizing Wolf’s act; labeling her as the so-called comedian even accusing her of ruining the show.

But the resolute comedian stands by her opinion and is not bothered by any antics of her.
