American Journalist Kate Bolduan's family turned four, and their family got complete. However, she had to lose someone close to her. She even shared the memories in a video posted by Global News. 

Kate is currently the host of  CNN's morning news show At This Hour with Kate Bolduan. She also anchors the State of America with Kate Bolduan during weekdays on CNN International.

Kate began her television career at MSNBC and NBC News in Washington D.C as a production assistant. She has even worked with NBC Nightly News, Dateline NBC and House & Garden magazine.

Starting her tenure at CNN as a national correspondent, she provided breaking news coverage for a large number of CNN Newsource affiliates.

She covered the 2008 United States Presidental election and also made headlines with O.J Simpson armed robbery case and the retiring NASA Space Shuttle fleet.

The previous co-anchor of The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer, she provided current events, headlines, and reports. She joined CNN’s At This Hour in 2015.

Apart from this, she was also named the anchor of her own CNN International program which covered the 2016 U.S. Presidental race for a global audience.

After spending almost a decade at CNN, in 2017,  her astounding performances saw her as a cast for new CNN TV series, Champions for Change.

On its first episode, she explored farms in Virginia to cover, The story behind Farm Aid where she interviewed small environmentally friendly farmers about their situation in America.

Carrying on with the episodes of the series, she spent time with the Every Mother Counts organization, which helps pregnant women by giving them information and other support in 2018.

Kate Bolduan Bio

Kate Bolduan, born on 28 July 1983, is the daughter of father Dr.Jeffery Bolduan and mother Nadine Bolduan, a nurse. She belongs to white ethnicity and has three siblings. 

She was educated at Goshen High School and continued her further education at George Washington University. The CNN host also has multilingual talent as she can speak Spanish too which she learned during her studies, in Madrid, Spain. She graduated in the year 2005, with a bachelors degree in journalism.

Kate Bolduan is living a prosperous married life with her husband, Michael D. Gershenson, who is the managing director of The Carlyle Group and a real estate expert. Kate and Michael got married on 30 May 2010 in a private wedding ceremony in New York City.

The love and affection between the spouses were evident in 2014 when Michael presented Kate with a lovely bouquet on her birthday, and Kate took to her Twitter to address her husband as the best.

Kate Bolduan Welcomes New Baby!

On April 2014, Kate announced in an interview with PEOPLE's magazine that she was pregnant and expecting the couple's first baby.

On 25 September 2014, the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter Cecelia Eve Gershenson. Kate announced her firstborn by sharing a beautiful picture of the baby on her Instagram on 3 October 2014.

Is Kate Bolduan Pregnant Again?

The CNN anchor finally answered is she pregnant rumors, with news about her being pregnant in real and happy about welcoming her second child On 30 July 2017. She took help from her Instagram to reveal the good news with a caption that stated her two-year-old daughter Cecelia was going to have a younger sister.

With this, on 18 November 2017, Kate shared a rare photo of her pregnant belly on Instagram with a caption noting she was almost there and she was happy about it.

Later that year on 23 December 2017, the beautiful daughter Delphine Esther was born weighing six pounds and 10 ounces. Kate shared the happy news on her Instagram, posting a picture of her newborn baby capting she was the best gift from God amongst all.

Kate, who is very active on Instagram can be seen posting pictures of her beautiful children regularly. She shares a beautiful relationship not only with her children but the whole family.

Kate Bolduan Faces Hard Time Talking About Late CNN Colleague Anthony Bourdain 

The ever-smiling TV presenter had her world turned dark after the news about the death of celebrity chef and host of CNN culinary program Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown, Anthony Bourdain's filtered through the media. 

The celebrity chef, who committed a suicide on 8 June 2018 was a perfect friend and a colleague of Kate Bolduan.

In a video posted by Global News on 8 June 2018, Kate was seen with a nostalgic tone and recalling her days with Anthony. The forty-second video shows what Anthony meant to hear as the journalist tries to hold back her tears when she talked about him. She remembered how open Anthony was to her when it came to his drug struggles and life.

During the short conversation, she was overwhelmed by emotions and had a hard time talking about him. She recalled an incident where Anthony every time walked out of the set; she would shout at him saying:

In my next life, I’m coming back as Anthony Bourdain

She ended the interview with a sad feeling and described her shock about the tragic death adding she had not been able to come to terms with his death.Â
