Julie’s journalism career began in 2010 when she was hired as a program assistant at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. In 2011, she was employed to the anchor desk by Fox Soccer Channel’s flagship program.
Julie joined FOX Sports as an update desk anchor and correspondent for FOX Sports 1 when the network launched in 2013.
In December 2016, she left FOX Sports after being hired by ESPN as a sideline reporter for MLS and U.S. Men’s and Women’s National Team games.
During her ESPN tenure, she also filled in the role of a sideline reporter on ESPN's College Football games and also became the first female reporter to host two straight MLS Cups with two different networks; FOX and ESPN.
Just after a year with ESPN, Julie joined Barstool Sports as a host of Barstool Breakfast on Sirius XM 85.
She left Barstool Sports in May 2018.
After leaving Barstool, she is working part-time as a sports broadcaster covering news from New York City and taking some time off to contemplate her next career move (full-time).
