As per her LinkedIn profile, Jared’s wife, Magali, was interested in legal counseling from her teenage years.

In an attempt to realize her ambition, she studied International Studies and Political Science at the University of Montreal.

She received her degree in B.Sc. with honours in 2011. After that, she started studying law in the same university and received her LL.B. degree in 2013.

Following her graduation, she joined a law school affiliated with York University—Osgoode Hall Law School, to study Intellectual Property Law in 2017. She completed her study in the same year and received the Certificate in Intellectual Property Licensing.

Magali Keeso Has a Vast Working Experience

The Montreal University graduate already had a decent amount of working experience before she took on the job of a full-time senior legal counselor at Coveo.

Mrs. Keeso initiated her career as a social rights advisor at Project Genesis while still studying at the University of Montreal. She worked there for one year and two months and left the workplace in September 2013.

While studying at the University of Montreal and after her stint at Project Genesis, she served as an undergraduate research assistant in the university’s Faculty of Law—which she left after her graduation in 2013.

Thereafter, she worked at Stikeman Elliott LLP, initially as a student-at-law/articling student and then as a corporate lawyer. Her initial stint lasted from May 2013 to July 2015, while the latter spanned from July 2015 to July 2016.

In August 2016, she joined another law firm, Fasken Martineau DuMoulin.

There, she practiced mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, and securities. Eleven months later, she left the organization to study at York University.

By February 2018, she had already joined hands with Coveo and begun looking after all the legal aspects of the contract negotiation involving the company’s business partners and customers.

With experience in multiple jobs, she ended up with a fluent command over three languages: English, Français, and Spanish.
