Despite facing several ups and downs on the personal front, British actress Janet Montgomery is finally moving onwards from the past failures with a new partner to enjoy her new love life.

The Bournemouth native is best known as Mary Sibley in the WGN America's supernatural horror series, Salem which was aired from 2014 to 2017. She is also starring in NBC's new medical drama New Amsterdam, as Dr. Lauren Bloom.

Janet was initially trained as a dancer but chose to pursue a career in acting rather than professional dancing, a choice that turned out to be for the best.

Janet Montgomery's Bio: Family Love

The gifted actress was born on 29 October 1985 as a daughter of Ann Porter and Shaun P. Montgomery. She has a sister named Hayley Lander and a younger brother named Jason, 28, in her family. Jason is an actor known from the 2015 movie, Murder Capital.

Janet is very much in love with her family members and demonstrates a significant bond towards them in her social sites. She is especially close to her sister, Hayley, who has been struggling with drug addiction for several years.

In April 2018, she posted a picture with her sister along with heartful message to her sister. She wrote about nothing changing between the sisters even after 15 years of separation.

Janet Montgomery's Career Is Only Reaching Its Height

She started her career when she got a role of Jennie in the 2010-11 comedy series, Entourage. She portrayed the character of Serina in the 2009 horror movie, The Hills Run Red. Her notable works include Dancing on the Edge (2013), Amateur Night (2016), and The Space Between Us (2017).

For her remarkable work in the series, she was twice nominated in the category of the Favorite Actress on Television for Fangoria Chainsaw Awards.

Janet appeared as a Lindsay in a movie In a Relationship in 2018.  She will also be appearing for a single episode in Matthew Weiner's drama anthology The Romanoffs.

Her most recent appearance in a major role, however, was in the medical drama New Amsterdam.

The NBC's new show is about New Amsterdam hospital, one of the United States's oldest public hospital that is deteriorating because of neglect and dysfunctional bureaucracy. And Janet will be playing one of the doctors, Dr. Lauren Bloom, of the hospital.

But after a long wait, she seems to have found someone she could be with for a long time, her new boyfriend, Joe Fox. While she has not revealed when the couple started their romance, she recently posted an Instagram photo declaring ten months of togetherness.
