Filipino actor and host, Edu Manzano had a colorful history of dealing with some of the beautiful women in show-biz before he found solace in the company of his children.

Edu Manzano is best known as the host of the Filipino version of The Weakest Link and 1 vs. 100. The 62-year-old California native first gained popularity by starring in 1986 Filipino flick Palimos ng pag-ibig. His political stint as mayor of Makati City for three years earned him a considerable fame in the Philippines.

Born on 14 September in 1955 in San Franciso, Edu holds dual citizenship of the Philippines and the US. On more than one occasion, he has identified as someone who's American by birth and Philippina by choice.

After enrolling in the US military at 17, he left after serving four years. In the years that followed he starred in movies including Ama, Ina, Anak and Kaaway Ng Batas.

His career saw new heights as he successfully campaigned for the vice mayoral office of Makati City in 1998. He served a three-year term at the post.

Edu Manzano  Married Two Times With Two Actresses

The astonishing actor Edu, who is currently at the age of 62, is someone who cannot stay with the same women for an extended period. Edu was connected with many women in his life and also got married to some of them. 

Also a comedian, Edu first got married to Vilma Santos, who is an actress and a politician by profession. The couple got married to each other in 1980. Later, the duo also welcomed a son named Luis Manzano together. 

However, their marriage did not remain stable enough for long and headed to a different turn. The couple finally divorced in 1985 and decided to stay as two close friends despite their broken marriage. The couple's son, Luis later followed father's footsteps and is working as an actor and a host now.

As for Edu, he didn’t give up on love. He got married to Maricel Soriano in 1989 in a very private ceremonial wedding. Edu's then-wife is a very prominent actress, who gained the title of The Diamond Star in the Philippines.

Edu's Multiple Dating Affairs: Journalist & Actresses On List

After separating with Maricel, Edu started dating another Filipino actress Rina Samson in 1993. The couple also lived together but did not get married. They share two children; Amanda and Lorenzo together. Rina is one of two women, with whom Edu had kids but she got separated in 1995.

Again, in the same year, Edu fell in love with his co-actress from the 1995 film ‘Tubusin mo ng Bala Ang Puso Ko.’ Though they spent some good time together, but split-up after one year of dating.

The TV personality remained absent from media for some period and was not spotted with any woman until Pinky Webb. Edu started dating a Filipino Journalist, Pinky Webb in 2005. Remaining together for five years, they decided to split up in 2009. 

Different sources reasoned their relationship ended after Edu declared his VP bid in May election, without disclosing Pinky about his decision. The separation came amid reports that the two were already planning a wedding.

After that, the actor has not been spotted in any relationship. As of now, Marciel has crossed over 60 years of age and spending a good time with his children, who are also close to each other despite their two wives. 

In 2013, Edu’s son Enzo and daughter Addie were seen joining their elder brother from another mother in Luis’s show on his birthday. As of now, Edu, who is not a gay though, is not looking to get married.

However, the United States Air Force veteran confessed that he has a relationship at present, who is taking care of him, and his children. He also revealed his dream to travel with three children in 2018. With all kids as grown-ups, he can’t help but compare family life then and now.

His son, Luis is dating actress Jessi Mendiola. In an interview when quizzed about the possibility of being a grandfather, he merely expressed happiness to see his son and his partner prosper as a couple.
