Erin Burnett, who stands at a height of 5ft 5inches (1.68m), is an American news reporter who started her career working with Goldman Sachs. Having previously worked for the likes of MSNBC and NBC, she is currently in the books of CNN and hosts Erin Burnett OutFront in the news network.

David is among a few who have seen his blind date gone wrong, as he met Erin on a blind date in 2003. The couple began dating in the same year and have progressed to getting married via an engagement. 

David's Low Key Wedding At City Hall At Age 42

The pair decided to upgrade their long-term dating relationship to a formal one in September 2011 after David popped up the ring. 

A year later, the couple got married in a low key wedding in the City hall, after Erin Burnett decided to keep their ceremony a chilled one. David was 42 years of age during the wedding while his wife was 36. However, having married in December, the couple had a grand reception at Atlantic Grill Resturant, which had a holiday theme in an ode to Christmas holidays.

Talking to PEOPLE after their marriage, the CNN diva explained that Christmas was the couple's favorite time of the year and that was the chief reason they chose to tie up the knots in that time of the year.

The couple is parents to two kids from their relationship, a son Nyle born a year after their wedding and daughter, Colby who they welcomed in 2015. Similarly, Erin Burnett announced in March 2018 that the couple was expecting their third child.

After sharing their excitement about their pregnancy back in March 2018, David alongside Erin welcomed their third child, a son named Owen Thomas Burnett Rubulotta.The couple was in awe of their new baby boy.

Owen was born in New York City on 23 August 2018. He measured 20½ inches and weighed 7 lbs., 15 oz. He is the youngest with her sister Colby Isabelle, 3, and brother Nyle Thomas, 4½.

Burnett is in a maternity leave as her OutFront team sent her off in style, hosting a cup-cake themed celebration.
