Cory Wharton is a reality television star renowned for his appearances on several reality shows, including The Challenge: Double Agents, Ex on the Beach, and Teen Mom OG.

The 29-year-old star is also a father of two daughters: Ryder K and Mila Mae. He had them with two different partners.

He welcomed his elder daughter, Ryder, with his ex-partner, Cheyenne Floyd, whereas he and his present girlfriend, Taylor Selfridge, welcomed his younger daughter, Mila.

Grew up without a Father 

Wharton, who is now committed to providing a good upbringing to both kids, personally had a tough childhood.

In a March 2019 episode of Teen Mom OG titled, ‘Being Cory,’ the 29-year-old star recalled being raised by his mother.

“My focus is being the best father to Ryder, which can be tough at times,” he shared. “Because I actually didn’t have a dad growing up since my father was in jail for most of my childhood.”

Wharton added he missed out on understanding the father-son relationship and being coached by a father.

But the reality star finally reconnected with his father after he came out of jail.

He also wants to clear the air between him and his father and start making up for the lost time.

“Our relationship means a lot to me,” the TV star added.

Wharton’s father, whose wife passed away in the late 2010s after a battle with ALS, is also raising a daughter at present.

Is Very Close to His Mother 

Since he was brought up by his mother alone, Wharton has a very close connection with his mother, who lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan with her parents.

The Ex on the Beach star often travels from California with his girlfriend and kids to visit his mother and other family members.

For instance, on June 22, 2019, he went to surprise her since they could not meet the last time she was in California.

That special gesture also made a few of his fans emotional. One fan commented, “This made my day. Means so much to witness so much love, affection, and care.”

Wharton visited his mother recently, in April 2021, with his family, and made a full vlog about his journey. During the visit, his daughter Mila and girlfriend Selfridge got baptized.
