French actress and model Pom Klementieff is well known for her role as the quirky Mantis in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Her ability to play characters with superpowers has been reprised in the new Netflix movie Thunder Force, where she plays the antagonist Laser.

For the movie's promotion, the actress took to her Instagram to post a video of her doing ASMR in her 'Laser' get-up.

Klementieff’s ASMR Promo Video

On April 17, the French actress posted a hilarious video of her mimicking the Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response or the ASMR videos while still in her character of Thunder Force.

In recent years, ASMR has gone mainstream since people enjoy the tingling sensation such videos give. It has been referenced in various major ad campaigns for huge brands like Dove and IKEA. Various celebrities like Kate Hudson, Margot Robbie, and Cardi B have experimented with ASMR.

Klementieff herself experimented with ASMR in a pitch-black background and table, with two mikes on either side of her. With a serious and menacing look, she said that she was very excited to do the video since she likes to control people's minds. She then 'examined' a manikin named Mr. Johnson, to which she prescribed two pills a day for his 'very white eyes.'

However, she poured it all on the table and hilariously claimed that the doll was dead. Giving a perilous look and a scary smirk, she played with the Rubix cube and called it dumb since she only loved playing one game - her lasers. She collected the energy and lasers on her palms while the producer panicked and asked everyone to get out of the room.

The video was well-received, and the reactions to her were entertaining as well. Mexican Actress Eiza González called it the most 'Pom thing,' and Fashion designer Tina Leung claimed she was scared by watching the promo. James Gunn, the director of Guardians of the Galaxy, reacted with a 'Face with Tears of Joy' emoji along with comedian Simon Pegg.

Klementieff plays alongside Octavia Spencer and ‎Melissa McCarthy in Thunder Force — a superhero comedy movie about two best friends.
