Canadian actor Avan Jogia never really opened up much about his dating life. However, he did not need to talk the talk as his attendance at the 2017 Entertainment Weekly Pre-Emmy Party spoke a thousand words!

The Vancouver-native is a Canadian actor, singer, activist, and director,  best known for his role as Beck Oliver in the Nickelodeon sitcom Victorious (2010–2013). He's also well-adored as Danny Desai in the ABC drama television series Twisted (2013–2014). His role as Danny Desai earned him nominations at the 2013 and 2014 Teen Choice Awards.

Avan Jogia's Bio: Parents, Ethnicity, Nationality, Age, Height

Avan Tudor Jogia was born on 9 February 1992 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He possesses a mixed ethnicity passed on from his bi-racial parents. 

His parents were of a mixed ethnicity; his father is a Gujarati Indian whereas his mother possesses the ethnicity of British-German. His younger brother, Ketan, is a music producer in London.

Standing tall with the height of 5 feet 10 inches (1.78 m), Jogia, age 27, is Canadian by Nationality knows to speak some Gujarati and French while being fluent in English.

According to an interview in Teen Vogue, Jogia was homeschooled from fifth to eighth grade whereas, for the ninth and tenth grade, he attended a local high school. At the early age of 16, he decided to leave school to become an actor.

After moving to Los Angeles, Jogia landed his first role in the 2006 TV movie A Girl Like Me: The Gwen Araujo Story. A year later, he appeared on the comedy series Aliens in America, and the science fiction show, Caprica.

However, it was in 2010, he rose to prominence after portraying Beck Oliver in the famous Nickelodeon series called Victorious. His best friend, Victoria Justice, was also a cast member. He credits the show for teaching him valuable lessons about photo sessions, red carpets, and interviews to make it as an actor in Hollywood.

After that, he played the role of Danny Desai in a teen-oriented mystery series called Twisted. After Twisted ended in 2014, Jogia found himself as an in-demand actor. He featured on several films, including I Am Michael (2015) with James Franco and Ten Thousand Saints (2015) with Ethan Hawke.

By July 2015, he got the chance to work with one of his idols, Ben Kingsley, as he starred as the title character in the TV miniseries Tut. Subsequently, he went on to write, direct and star as Bones in short-fantasy series, Last Teenagers of the Apocalypse.

In 2017, Jogia featured alongside Victoria Justice in the comedy flick, The Outskirts.

Jogia & Zoey Deutch Split After Five Years Of Dating 

It is not just his career that took off at the turn of the first decade of the millennium, but also he was splashed across news because of his love-life. 

Jogia's first reported girlfriend was an American actress. He and actress, Zoey Deutch were rumored as a couple back in 2012 when they attended the Kids' Choice Awards together.

Despite their attempt to keep their relationship private, they couldn’t keep their dating status a secret. They continued dating each other after that and became inseparable in the following years.

However, after dating for five years, they took the whole fans by surprise as they announced that they were amicably splitting up with each other at the end of 2016. But they didn’t cite any reason as to why they broke up.
