Inside Katlego Danke's Personal Life: A Son and a Mysterious Baby Father

South African actress Katlego Danke, notable for her performance as Dineo Mashaba on the soap opera Generations, is a mother of one.

After she gave birth to her son back in 2014, a major question lurked around: Who is Katlego Danke's baby father? The query, however, has been left unanswered by the actress. 

Rarely Shares Pictures of Her Son

Danke has kept the details of her son close to her heart. Thankfully, not as close as the identity of her baby's father. Though rarely, the Isidingo star shares pictures of her son and gives a glimpse of her motherhood through Instagram. 

The exhibition of her motherhood journey started when she posted a picture of her son's feet on Instagram on December 20, 2014. The same day, she also shared pictures of her pregnancy photoshoot. 

Since then, the Generations actress kept her son away from the media; she only posted his picture in 2017 while he was three years old. It took another three years for Danke to share the next picture of her son. 

On 5 January 2020, she Instagrammed a slideshow of pictures that featured her and her six-year-old having fun in an upside-down house. The pictures clarified how her son had grown up to be half her height. 

A month after, Danke shared a close-up picture of her son that revealed only half his face. In the caption, she used her humor to share that her son's baby teeth had started to fall out. 

Despite sharing minimum information, the actress clarified she holds a beautiful relationship with her child.

Is Katlego Danke Married?

Just like her mysterious baby daddy, her marital status also remains obscure. Let alone her husband, Danke hasn't even clearly stated about her boyfriend, if she has any. She has kept her relationship status concealed and has never commented or mentioned anything of that matter.

Nevertheless, she has been vocal enough to say that she loves weddings. While promoting the wedding scene of her series, Isidingo, she wrote:

I do love weddings and I can still hear the wedding songs from the shoot 2 months ago ringing in my head.. beautiful moments.

Katlego Danke was born on November 7, 1978, in South Africa. She shares a close relationship with her mother, Qhawe. On 2020s Mother's Day, she dedicated a post to her mom and stated how grateful she was to have her as a guardian.

The 42-year-old graduated in theatres and performance from the University of Cape Town in 2001. She started her career with the TV series, Generations and even won a SAFTA award for Best Actress.
