The speculation of their affair first surfaced when Demita uploaded an Instagram story with Andre that featured a number of heart emojis floating around their head in June 2018. The post in question has since been deleted. 

Then, after a little over two weeks of the first reveal, she shared a picture on her Instagram where the two could be seen on the red carpet of the 2018 NBA Awards. However, the rumors of them dating were still up in the air because she neither put any caption to hint otherwise nor did she confirm the rumors. 

DeMita finally put the speculation to rest when she posted another picture with Roberson four months after she had posted the initial photo. In the photo, she was with Roberson (who she lovingly called ‘Dre’) signing autographs and captioned the picture “another season begins! beyond proud of you Dre, and can’t wait to see you out there very soon! Love, your # 1 fan”.

In the valentiine's day post, DeMita was seen wearing a beautiful floral black dress holding a rose to her chest. After again posting picture of themselves attending the NBA award together in June 2019, she was then seen visiting Roberson in Oklahoma later in October.
