American actress, Maureen Denise McCormick, best known for her role as Marcia Brady on the ABC TV sitcom The Brady Bunch, has been happily married to actor Michael Cummings for over thirty years.

However, the actress surprisingly revealed in an episode of the TV Show, I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! in 2015, that she was romantically involved with legendary artist Michael Jackson in her teenage days before tying the knot with Cummings.

McCormick and Cummings Have Been Married for over Three Decades

McCormick and Cummings have been living a prosperous conjugal life for thirty-seven years as of this writing. The duo first met in a church and built a lifelong connection with each other. They decided to take their relationship to the next level when the two exchanged vows in March 1985.

McCormick also uploaded their throwback wedding picture on the auspicious occasion of their thirty-sixth wedding anniversary on her Instagram in March 2020. The 64-year-old wrote a caption showing her love and respect towards her husband. She captioned it," Happy 36th Anniversary to my husband, Michael. I love you forever. You are my heart, my home, my love. How grateful and thankful I am to be on this journey with you!"

In a 2017 interview with Closer Weekly, McCormick revealed that marriage was the hardest thing she thought she could ever do, and now she trusts her man with her life, she further confessed.

You just need to get through those times when they can make you so mad, or when you want to walk out that door but don’t. Today I trust that man with my life!

The actress also said that the two had become better human beings staying together, and their love has grown even deeper. They also have many fights as normal married couples do, but Cummings has never let her down, although they have disagreements.

He’s never let me down — even though I’ve been so mad at him and we’ve disagreed about so many things, we’ve chosen to keep working at it. I don’t know if anyone else could have taken me!  Our love has really grown much deeper.

Not only that, but Cummings has also helped her overcome her drug addiction through multiple interventions and rehabs during her 20s. In an interview with Daily Mail UK, Cummings opened up about how his partner had been honest and open to him since day one, and she never hid her past.

She was very honest with me from day one. She has always been very honest with me, an open book.

McCormick once Dated Michael Jackson

Although the two have found their lifelong love in each other, Cummings was not the only man in her life. The American actress and singer had dated King of Pop Michael Jackson during her teenage days.

In an episode of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! in 2015, the Brady Bunch actress surprised the fans and her co-contestants when she revealed that she was once in a relationship with Jackson. McCormick asked Chrissie Swan if she liked the legendary artist before opening up about her dating history.

We used to go roller skating in Woodland Hills [California], I used to go over to their house all the time.

The actress said that the two were together when she was "probably 14,15 or 16," and when asked if the two were officially boyfriend and girlfriend, McCormick answered, "yeah."

However, she also clarified that the ex-pair never kissed on the lips and just used to hold hands and kissed on the cheeks. The two also talked about their dreams and admired each other a lot as teenagers. Jackson also loved her show, The Brady Bunch, she added.
