More Than Just Bloody Valentine: Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox's Relationship Timeline

The relationship between singer Machine Gun Kelly (Colson Baker) and actress Megan Fox is getting serious as engagement rumors surface in the media.

According to April 16, 2021, reports from E!, a source close to Fox revealed the two intend to commit to each other as soon as Fox is legally allowed to do so. 

It is currently pending because of the finalization of her divorce from ex-partner Brian Austin Green. But once the divorce is finalized, the two “plan to get engaged and married.”

They are very much in love and have a strong and intense relationship. Her divorce is moving along, and they are hashing out custody details.

Months after separating from her longtime husband, Green, the actress has rekindled her romance with musician/actor Kelly.

The couple has been dating for about nine months since meeting on a movie set last year. And anytime they make a public appearance, give a joint interview, or share a gushing Instagram caption, the two seem to go viral.

March 2020: Fox and Kelly Met on a Movie Set

Fox, 34, and Kelly, 30, first met on the set of the indie thriller Midnight In The Switchgrass in March 2020. The film’s shooting in Puerto Rico was halted after two weeks because of the coronavirus pandemic. 

Then, a source told E! News that the co-stars had “been hanging out a lot since their movie was shut down,” adding, “The downtime has been good for them...They are intrigued by each other and having a lot of fun.” 

May 2020: Fox and Green Announced Their Separation

In a May 18, 2020 episode titled “Context,” Green announced he and his wife of nearly ten years had separated on his podcast. 

According to him, the couple grew more distant when Fox was out of the country shooting a film for about five weeks. He clarified that they had been spending more time apart since the end of 2019. 

“Neither one of us did anything to each other,” Green said. “She’s always been honest with me. I’ve always been honest with her. We’ve had an amazing relationship.”

The two got married in June 2010 after being engaged for four years. They first separated in 2015, with Fox stating “irreconcilable differences” in her divorce filing as the reason for their split.

However, the couple resolved their problems after the actress became pregnant with their now-4-year-old son Journey. They share two other children, 8-year-old Noah, and 7-year-old Bodhi. 

May 2020: Fox Appeared in Kelly’s Music Video, ‘Bloody Valentine’

Speculations that the two were dating were only fuelled when Fox appeared in Kelly’s 'Bloody Valentine' music video. Kelly’s domineering girlfriend appeared in the video and shared an almost-kiss with him.

The video begins with a seductive Fox lying in bed next to the rapper, mouthing the song’s lyrics while being bound with pink duct tape over his mouth.  

The Transformers actress also featured a cameo in Kelly’s pop-punk album Tickets To My Downfall in September 2020.

July 2020: Instagram Official

The couple went Instagram official on July 28, 2020. Kelly was the first to share a picture of the pair sticking their tongues out in a monochrome mirror selfie. “waited for an eternity to find you again...,” he captioned the photo.

A month later on August 5, 2020, the 34-year-old actress announced their relationship on her Instagram “Achingly Beautiful Boy... My heart is yours,” Fox captioned the selfie with Kelly. 

February 2021: Bloody Valentine

Kelly and Fox took a unique approach to their first Valentine’s Day together. The singer suggested on Instagram that he carry some of Fox’s blood in a necklace. He captioned an Instagram gallery with emojis like a red rose, a blood drop, and a knife.

March 2021: Double Date with Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker 

Date night for four! In the VIP segment of the UFC 260 match in Las Vegas on March 27, 2021, Kelly and Fox were joined by reality star Kourtney Kardashian and Kelly’s collaborator Travis Barker. 

April 2021: Birthday Wishes For Kelly

The 'Bad Things' singer turned 31 on April 22, 2021, and Fox couldn't let his special day pass without wishing him a happy birthday on social media. Fox shared a mirror selfie with a caption, "Happy Birthday blonde angel baby," where both were smiling from ear to ear.
