The couple’s love story began on an American drama series, Soul Food, where they co-starred. The show aired in 2000 and ended in 2004, soon after which they strengthened their bond with marriage. However, this is Nicole’s second marriage after her divorce from actor Joseph Falasca in 2001.

Apart from the drama series, they also shared a screen in a talk show, Boris and Nicole, as co-hosts. The entertainment talk show created by the couple premiered in 2015 and ended with twenty episodes.

The couple has been blessed with two beautiful kids, Sophie Tei-Naaki Lee Ofuatey Kodjoe and Nicolas Neruda Kodjoe, in 2005 and 2006, respectively.

Unfortunately, Sophie was diagnosed with a condition called Spina Bifida, a congenital disability in the spine. Despite the condition, she is living her best life with a loving and supporting family. The loving father often posts her pictures on Instagram on several occasions mentioning how proud he is to have a daughter like her.

Likewise, Kodjoe also expresses his love for his son by making adorable Instagram posts dedicated to his son.

The family man’s social media is flooded with pictures of his family, showing his love for them unhesitantly. Here is yet another adorable Instagram post he made recently, where all the Kodjoes are bundled up together enjoying the sun in the sea.
