According to a report by Page Six, the former Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel's divorce from her then-husband Jason Hoppy was finally approved by a judge on Jan 20.

Following this news, on March 23, 2021, People confirmed that Frankel had been engaged to Paul Bernon.

The Eight-Year-Long Divorce

The Skinnygirl mogul tied the knot with ex-husband Jason Hoppy in 2010. However, they called their marriage off in December 2012, and a month later, Frankel filed for divorce.

But since the duo shared a now-10-year-old daughter, Bryn, their divorce and custody battles elongated for years.

According to Page Sixthe judge halted the judgment because of an order of protection issued against Hoppy. The order was placed after Hoppy was accused of harassing and stalking Frankel in 2017, resulting in the reality TV star requesting a change in custody over Bryn. The judge said;

The judgment was never issued because an order of protection was issued by the Criminal Court which impacted the previously agreed to a joint custody arrangement and Frankel subsequently brought an application to modify the agreement.

In September 2020, Frankel, during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live WIth Andy Cohen, revealed that because she was still hitched with ex-husband Hoppy, she could not think about marrying her then-boyfriend, Bernon.

After years of court battles, on March 23, 2021, Page Six confirmed that on Jan 20, a judge had finally signed off on the divorce, hinting at a green signal for her wedding with her then-boyfriend.

Frankel’s Wedding With Bernon

After the confirmation of her divorce with ex-husband Hoppy, the Real Housewives of New York alum got engaged to beau, Paul Bernon, in March 2020. Rumors about the engagement flew in when Frankel was spotted donning a beautiful diamond ring. According to a report on Page Six, the ring has an estimated cost of $1 Million.

The duo first began dating in the fall of 2018, and in the course of their relationship, Frankel has been posting numerous pictures of the two together.

On their first anniversary, Frankel posted a picture of the two from their vacation in Capri, Italy.

Frankel expressed her gratitude towards Bernon for all the support and love he has introduced to her life in the caption of the photo. Adding on, the reality TV star mentioned that it was his endless love and support that inspired her to aim for the impossible.
