Reality TV star and former footballer Ashley Cain’s brave young daughter is spending her last days at home after doctors revealed there was nothing else they could do for her terminal leukemia battle.

After fighting a rare form of illness for most of her life, Azaylia was given only one or two days to live nearly two weeks ago. The young girl was diagnosed with cancer at eight weeks and has undergone multiple doses of chemotherapy and spent a significant amount of time in the hospital.

Cain, who has been updating about his daughter’s condition through his Instagram, shared a heart-wrenching post on April 11, 2021, to inform that his “fearless little lioness” has returned home. Sharing multiple pictures of Azaliya on her 8-month birthday, he said that she had given him the best eight months of his life through the toughest of times. “MY HERO I LOVE YOU,” he added.

On April 9, 2021, the TV personality took to his Instagram to share an emotional video after Azaylia’s CT scan and ultrasound reports revealed the tumors in her brain, kidneys, liver, lungs, and spleen.

Because of the pressure in her head, the consultants said they wouldn’t be able to treat the tumors in her brain. Since her disease is so aggressive, her chemo is no longer reducing the disease in her blood.

Cain and his wife Safiyya Vorajee have been raising money to send their eight-month-old daughter to Singapore for the CAR T-cell treatment.

The fundraising campaign helped to raise more than £1.5 million, but Cain said they can no longer go because Singapore’s doctors could not come up with a viable cure.

This was our last and only option to save Azaylia’s life, but her disease was sadly too complex for them, so we will now be returning home with our beautiful baby to give her the best possible time she has left.

However, the funds raised by the appeal would benefit other children and their families in similar situations, and the couple expressed their gratitude to everyone who contributed.

Vorajee also shared the “saddest news,” of her life as she expressed her feelings in an Instagram post on April 8, 2021. Sharing a family picture, she wrote, “I am so proud of my baby girl, she’s been fighting for so long and doesn’t deserve this. There aren’t enough words to describe the pain I am feeling, but I am honored to have become a mummy to my precious girl.”

Cain Gets a Message of Support from His Idol, The Rock

After the reality star announced his 8-month-old daughter’s cancer has worsened, Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock sent a message of support to The Challenge alum. In a video message posted to his Instagram on April 11, 2021, Johnson, one of Cain’s heroes, explained that the universe and God work in mysterious, powerful, amazing, and beautiful ways. He captioned the post: “Let’s Go Champ.”

He said he rarely checks his messages but luckily he read a DM of Cain’s friend which directed him to his page. “I want to tell you, first of all, I’m so sorry to hear about your beautiful daughter Azaylia”, he added.

Johnson,48, further elaborate to the Nuneaton native that his daughter’s determination keeps him going and Azaliya has already made such an amazing impact on the world.
