Anna Cathcart is a Canadian actress renowned for her role as Olympia in the 2016 educational comedy series Odd Squad and its film spin-off Odd Squad: The Movie in the same year.

The 18-year-old actress has also appeared in other prominent projects, including Netflix's To All the Boys film series, Disney Channel's Descendants 2 and Descendants 3, and web series Zoe Valentine.

Cathcart and Her Family Members

The Odd Squad star was born on June 16, 2003, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Cathcart identifies herself as half Chinese and half Irish since her mother comes from a Chinese background and her father is an Irish man.

But she was born and brought up in Vancouver by her parents and elder sister Sara Cathcart.

The Cathcart sisters are supportive of each other and are very attached to their mom and dad.

On Mother's Day in 2020, Sara surprised her mother and wrote that her mother deserved to be celebrated every day. She also mentioned her actress sister in the caption.

The same year, the Descendants 2 actress also took to Instagram on Father's Day and shared a picture with her father and sister Sara.

"Happy father’s day dad," she wrote. "It would take me forever to list all the reasons I’m grateful for you. Thank you for leaving me notes in the morning, texting me GIFS that make my day, and being there when I need you."

Debut at the Age of 13

At the age of 13, when many celebrated their cartoon-themed birthdays or attended schools, Cathcart made her on-screen acting debut.

Her debut project was the second season of the television series Odd Squad in 2016. She was cast in the lead role as Agent Olympia.

Cathcart also reprised the role for its film spin-off Odd Squad: The Movie. Following that, she appeared in the TV series Dino Dan in 2017 and Once Upon a Time between 2017 and 2018.

Her breakthrough role came in 2018 when she was cast as Kitty, the sister of the main protagonist Lara Jean, portrayed by Lana Condor, in the movie To All the Boys I've Loved Before.

The movie also starred actors like Janel Parrish, Noah Centineo, Israel Broussard, and John Corbett.

The actress appeared in the other two parts of the same movie in 2020 and 2021.

In 2019, Cathcart won the Canadian Screen Award for her performance in 2017's show Dino Dana. She also has one Daytime Emmy Awards nomination.

Her upcoming projects include a television movie titled Spin and a feature movie, Descendants: The Royal Wedding.

Rumored as Lesbian

It has been a story of every newcomer in the entertainment industry to be rumored as lesbian or gay until they reveal their relationship status.

The story isn't different for the 5 foot 6¼ inch tall actress.

The rumors of her being a lesbian have also been prevalent since she has identified herself as "she/her" in her Instagram bio. Cathcart is also passionate about supporting the LGBTQ+ community, Refinery29 reports.

But that being said, the actress has not come out of the closet publicly yet to address her as a lesbian.
