Amy Adams’ daughter is on her way to becoming a teenager.

Adams and her husband Darren Le Gallo have rarely shared photos of their daughter on social media since they welcomed her in 2010. But on May 16, the parents took to their Instagram to share photos of their only child Aviana Olea Le Gallo, in honor of her 11th birthday.

Adams posted a sweet black-and-white photo of herself with Aviana along with a sweet, heart-warming message about her little girl. “Happy 11th Birthday Aviana. You constantly amaze me with your humor, intelligence, and spirit. This day is a true celebration. I Love you,” she captioned the snap.

Her husband, Gallo, uploaded a carousel on Instagram of a rare portrait of Aviana, as well as a shot of her walking on the beach and a recent image of her sketching in an art gallery. He gushed about her in the captions and relayed he was proud of her.

Adams Often Gushes About Her Daughter

Despite keeping her daughter away from the limelight, Adams does not shy away from talking about her daughter. In 2016, the actress admitted on The Graham Norton Show that her daughter actually teased her for being an actress and sees her more as a mother than an actress.

The same year, the actress also stated that she would be completely on board if her daughter followed in her footsteps and embarked on a Hollywood career. She iterated that she would encourage her and maybe get her started in theatre to lay the foundation.

Besides being supportive, the actress likes to embarrass her daughter like any other parent. In her recent interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Adams opened up about all the different ways she likes to embarrass her daughter.

I’ve embarrassed her on accident. She’s gotten really fast at the mute and turning off the video now, so it’s really hard to embarrass her on purpose now, although I try.

Although Adams and her husband are private about their daughter’s life, they publicly debuted her in 2017 at a ceremony unveiling Adam’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She revealed that she and her husband felt it was an important moment to share with her daughter.

Adam’s New Sequel to Enchanted

When the actress is not busy gushing about her daughter in interviews, she is busy being the six-time Oscar nominee actress. She recently revealed an Instagram video that she had officially touched down in Ireland, where she will start filming the sequel to Enchanted.

In December 2020, during the Disney Investor Day conference, the highly anticipated sequel was announced thirteen years after the original film hit theaters. Adams is returning as the leading lady, Princess Giselle, in Disenchanted, which will be available on Disney+.

Besides Adams, her charming co-star Patrick Dempsey also confirmed that he would return as the pessimistic New York divorce attorney, Robert Philip. This year, the Grey’s Anatomy alum shared on Good Morning America that he just got this script for the second movie.

Everyone is definitely waiting to revisit that fairytale-inspired world.
