Tupac Wanted to Have Children before He Died but Could He Have Had a Daughter in Secret?
Legendary rapper Tupac, full name Tupac Amaru Shakur, is synonymous with American '90s gangsta rap.
Although he died young at the age of 25, his musical prowess gained fame and appreciation, with over 75 million records sold worldwide. And the popularity has perpetually grown with passing days.
While his career and accomplishments remain as transparent as they can be, the same can not be said about his personal life, with claims of people being his children emerging now and then.
Did Tupac Have Children?
There are no confirmed reports stating writ large that Tupac had children. But there are records stating he wanted to have a family of his own — especially when he was married to Keisha Morris.
After tying the knot at Clinton Correctional Facility on April 29, 1995, Tupac and Morris admittedly planned to have kids after moving to Arizona. They even picked out names - Star if daughter and Michelangelo if son.
"I liked Star but not Michelangelo," Morris later shared to Source Magazine. She also mentioned Tupac's positive change, including thoughts on marriage and kids, had startled his publicist and close friend Karen Lee. "She had never heard him talking about marriage or children," she remarked.
Though the pair had undeniable chemistry, Tupac's smoking habits eventually affected their relationship. As a result, the court annulled their marriage as soon as Tupac left the correctional facility.
Thereon, the 'Hit 'Em Up' rapper began dating Kidada Jones, the sister of actress Rashida Jones. Their budding relationship, however, lasted only for mere months, as the renowned singer died on September 13, 1996.
He was gunned down at a Las Vegas intersection and shot four times in the chest, arm, and thigh. Six days later, he succumbed to the injuries.
Until his death, there was no news of him having any child. However, that has apparently changed over the years with rumors that he might have had a secret daughter named Jaycee Shakur.
A TikToker Claims to Be Tupac's Daughter
The speculations of Tupac having a secret daughter intensified after a TikTok user under the moniker Boogie Bentley uploaded a video on July 19, 2021.

As soon as the video made rounds on the internet, people wondered if she was the rapper's secret child. "Tupac does have a daughter, but I don't know if it's her," one user commented on the video.
Another chimed in, noting the resemblance between the late rapper and his reported daughter. "I looked online. She is Tupac's daughter. She looks like him"
While some people agreed she could be Tupac's daughter, others couldn't disagree more. For instance, a TikToker commented, "Tupac didn't have any children."
Without a doubt, the content creator successfully spurred a conversation about allegedly being Tupac's daughter. She has even written "Tupac's daughter" on her Instagram bio that goes by @boog_18.
That being said, the claims are yet to be verified. Until then, all theories and claims are to be taken with a grain of salt.
